  1. Greetings, Young dumbhead millennial collector here. I generally collect mostly based off of character / title / overall aesthetics of the piece. I factor in the artist only really when determining the value of the piece, a desire to buy that particular artist hardly ever figures into the equation. Like I said, dumbhead. But I'm pretty convinced there's a lot more people like me in the next wave of collectors.
  2. I think this is an onion with many layers. If for example you're talking about all of the Daredevil original art ever created in human history, then ALL Frank Miller covers would be considered "A" or "god" tier. But I'm sure some advanced collectors would consider some Miller DD covers to be "B" or "C" relative to other Miller DD or maybe just all other Miller material period. So what does that make a really cool Scott McDaniel DD cover? In the eyes of an advanced collector who's calling some Miller covers a "C" it probably doesn't even rate. But in reality it's probably in the top 10-20% of all published DD art ever, right? It's similar to discussing what the greatest movies ever made. Awesome topic to discuss, and should be able to build some general consensus, but will never be definitive
  3. Ahh my bad, no idea then! Curious to know what they say
  4. If the lot is opening at lets say $1000 and someone else had a prior max of $2600. Then someone enters $2600 on HA Live, or perhaps even multiple people enter $2600. Whoever entered $2600 first (the non HA Live bidder in this instance) would win at $2600.
  5. I hemmed and hawwed and ended up lowering my bid on the Team America cover and underbid it with my cut. Awesome piece, I think it kind of got chopped off at the knees with Kirby and Romita Cap covers coming beforehand. May have removed a strong bidder from the equation.
