  1. A combination of inexperience and assuming that permanent mounting tape actually works
  2. Nope front cover is good. Pretty sure a press and reholder would bring it back to shape. I think it should be good after thinking about it for a while its a Venom 3 CGC 9.6 2x SS
  3. You think people would still pay close to 9.6 prices for it? What’s your experience? I’m worried my investment went down hundreds of dollars
  4. I had a slab drop from my wall and the comic sustained some minor damage on the corner. Nothing huge and could be easily pressed out, however if it were to be graded today it would not stay at the same grade. How does this affect the value of the comic? Pics are attached
  5. Ya I checked the comic again. The warped sections are now flattened. The back looks just about perfect again. Think I might send it in for grading. It seems like an issue with potential to me
  6. Here you go. I found a small tick mark that doesn’t break color. Additionally my hands warped the back of the cover a tad *facepalm*. I may be able to iron those out. Idk maybe send it in for pressing?
  7. I received a copy of Thor 3 2nd Print virgin (1st cover appearance of Black Winter) in the mail today. Book is absolutely immaculate save for a printing defect (I believe) in the top left corner of the book. The page is actually NOT torn through. It’s still fully attached to the spine. Do you guys still think it’s possible to obtain a 9.8? Pictures are attached. Side Note: Do you guys think the Black Winter is just Darkseid? Lol
  8. Hi everyone, I fairly new to the whole graded comics market and have been trying to tune my skills better as to assessing books before grading them. At the last C2E2 (right before the virus hit) I got Venom #3 2018 double signed by Cates and Stegman. I always thought this book was a perfect 9.8. I was very frustrated to recieve it back as a 9.6. The only flaw I can detect is an extremely small spine tick visible on the back. I am currently considering sending in for regrading along with some other comics to get first-time graded. I would be eternally grateful for your opinion of whether it would be worth it to send in a second time. Pictures are attached below.
