  1. To quote Renfield from the 1931 Dracula: "Be guided by what he says".
  2. Was very sorry to hear this and sent Conan a short note last night. Hope Buddy recovers.
  3. Big trade package came in. Eighty Page Giant #1 was a 3.5, the Flash 168 and the Iron Man 8 were 4.0. The Blackhawks were mostly 3.0.
  4. Going way back to the OP's question, I only follow two comic book sales sites, Mycomicshop.com and Ebay. (I buy mostly from the former and use the latter as a guide for pricing). And in the past 18 months prices have rocketed and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. At MCS a lot of non key Silver Age books are hitting triple digits that were selling for around $25 18 months ago. I'm not sure if this is due to movies and tv shows, but there are times I feel like I'm being priced out of the market. Last year I picked up an Atom #1 4.5 for around $150. Yesterday a 4.5 was listed for $245. Avengers 12vg last year was around $25 to $35. The last vg I saw this year was listed at $80 before it sold. Picked up a Showcase 55 gd+ and a JLA 21gd for $20 to $25 last year. The former just went for $75 in the same grade and JLA 21 passed that mark as well.
  5. Had a load of Blackhawks come in. I wanted to read a Quality Blackhawk so I grabbed these two (86 & 95). I still think the DC stories are a little better.
  6. That's a nice book if it weren't for the tape. I don't know how CGC grades tape and not really sure you should try and remove it. There may be a safe process to do it, but I'm not aware of it. With just covers to go on, I would say if there was no tape easily a 7.5 to 8.0.
  7. Did Rob Liefield draw those ugly arsed legs on everyone? ACK!
  8. The only bronze age book to come in today. I loved this one as a kid and still do to this day.
