  1. No problem. I didn't remember requesting Imaging but when I saw it listed there I thought, well maybe they added it. I'll check with them. I really appreciate your help!
  2. Hi Jennifer! Sure here is the info Submission #2579283 I don't have an order number because this was submitted through One-Stop Comics while I was at a convention in September. Here's a screen shot of the info when I click the Submission # Thank you so much for your help.
  3. It just occurred to me that I never received the scanned image of a comic I had graded back in September. It was shipped back to me 9/28/2020 and of course I received. My Submission history shows the comic as having been "Finalized / Imaged / Shipped" and clicking on that link takes me to the Fed-Ex website. I never got the image sent in a separate email and I've checked my Spam/Junk folder to make sure. Who can I contact about getting the scan of this comic book? Cheers!
  4. Thanks for sharing! If your copy is doing the same thing as mine then, I assume, it's safe to say that this is not caused by moisture.
  5. Hi everyone! So I recently bought this X-Men #25 out of a $1 bin because of the blue hologram oddity. My first thought was maybe it was moisture that got into the hologram. But the rest of the comic book is absolutely clean and the pages are white and show no signs of moisture or water damage. I've looked at this hologram from various angles and cannot figure it out. My sister said it looked like blue ink spilled in there. I've been reading this thread and have seen some really bizarre (yet very interesting) examples of these holograms having different oddities. So I was wondering what you all thought of this one. Oh and funny enough, when I bought it I didn't realize it was a Newsstand issue until I got home.
  6. Seriously, I too am wondering if there's any logical reasoning behind the different names placed near the UPC barcode on modern Marvel Newsstand editions. I mean why put "Marvel Classics" near the barcode for this "The Invincible Iron Man" issue 17? Ummm....is it supposed to be a classic?
  7. Wow thats crazy! Someone at CGC was asleep at the wheel when they labeled it. You can re-send it and have the label corrected, right?
  8. I'm still a huge collector of the 90's Marvel trading cards...everything from the Marvel Universe to the X-Men Fleer and so on. I'd love to see CGC begin grading Marvel cards from the 90's and would totally send some of mine in.
  9. While looking through my G.I. Joe comics I came across these two from Devil's Due published in 2006. Hehehe...I figured it can't be any more obvious that these are both Newsstand editions.
  10. My twin sis and I have a table at next month's Fan Expo Dallas (Now I'm wishing I'd transferred my table booth fees to next years con in May 2021) because I found out a few weeks ago about the Governor's Executive Order GA-20 which says So far there is no expiration date for this order and my twin sister and I will be flying in from Atlanta. I've spoken to someone at the Texas Dept. of Public Safety and was told we would be have to self-quarantine for 14 days unless the Governor removes Atlanta from this list before the weekend of the convention or if we were deemed "essential workers". Since California & New York are on this list that would definitely effect those celebrities and comic book professionals who would be arriving into Dallas as well. I wasn't sure if you'd heard anything about this but I thought I'd share it just in case. All the info about traveling into Texas from those states and cities listed above can be found at https://www.dps.texas.gov/COVIDtravel/
  11. Thanks! I guess I'll call it a Walmart variant then.
  12. Hi everyone! Yesterday I stopped by a nearby Wal-Mart only to find they had restocked on more Marvel 3-Packs! So I purchased this one that had a King Thor #1 (Variant Issue). However, after searching various sites and databases I can't find this particular variant mentioned anywhere. Does anyone have any info on this cover? Here are some pics. Thanks!
  13. newshane & Bird, Thank you both so very much for answering my questioning and putting my mind at ease. I also learned something new, the CGC's use of microchamber paper. Now that I know it's harmless, I'll just let it be. Again, my thanks to you both for your knowledge and for kindly answering my question. Cheers!
  14. I had posted this message in the "Ask CGC" thread yesterday but I've since realized that I should've posted it here. CGC moderators, please accept my apology and remove it from that thread. Here's what I'd posted: Hi, I had my Spawn issue #200 Lee Variant graded a few years ago and it came back with a 9.8. I kept it in an appropriate CGC sized long box (along with my other graded comics) for all these years. Just recently I decided to look at some of my graded comics and when I picked up my Spawn #200 issue I immediately noticed something sliding out from the bottom. I knew it wasn't there before so I looked at the picture taken by the CGC when it was graded. (thank goodness I paid the extra money to have that done) I don't know what it is that has slid out from underneath the comic. I've taken pictures of how it looks now. Does anyone know what this might be? I never opened the comic book when I got it, just sent it straight to CGC to be graded. Has anyone else seen this in the #200 issue? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  16. I'm hoping a CGC will be willing to attend even if they announce it last minute. I'm going to the show and would love to get a few G.I. Joe books signed! There's still a bit of time and hope left...
  17. Hi everyone! I had no idea Walmart had started carrying these Marvel 3 packs until yesterday. Of course, I bought a few. When I got home I jumped onto the forum only to discover that a thread had already been in progress about these Walmart packs. So I thought it'd be interesting to share with you all what I got out of the packs I purchased. I can definitely say (at least from my experience) that they're randomly packaged.
  18. I too would love to see an official CGC witness at this show since I'm dying to get a few things signed as well.
