Just picked up a New Mutants #1 which is missing the top staple. This is not a case where the staple came out; there is no tear, staple holes, or indentation marks. It looks like the staple was never inserted in the first place. Is this a common error? Anyone else come across this? And any idea what CGC makes of such types of errors? I'm new to CGC and grading, and this is my first post, so thanks for any help and apologies if this is a well known stupid thing in this community. Pics can be provided.
