Big Dc comics fan here My favorite Dc comic heros are Green Arrow and Hawkman. I don't know I guess I'm sort of different from the rest of the bunch to pick these two heros. Believe it or not they don't even get along with each other in the justice league comics. Green Arrow is a Liberal and Hawkman is a Conservative at least that's what I heard. Any way I happen to like them both for there differences, another thing I want to bring up, while I'm on this journal. If a person gets a purple label from CGC meaning restored and it's a mondern comic is that the automaticaly the kiss of death as far as the resale value? Hello again. I want to take this time to throughly introduce myself, my user name is deathbed75, of course its made up, but I would like to clear something up I'm not sick or anything or on my deathbed or dying. I'm a healthy 38yr old male going on 39yrs old next month God welling. Its just a name I came up with off the top of my head on the spur of the moment. Now on to comics, I collect only key issues and variants mainly sketch variant since most of them have a low print run and are thus more valuble. My favorite super heros are DC charactors they are The Green Arrow and Hawkman. I love those charactors I got tshirts of both of them. New on the board I' ve been with CGC for two years now and I've never bothered, to write on the chatboard or journals. Mainly because I'm more of a novice collector not serously entrenched in the hobby. I love collecting comics mostly raw I send them into CGC sometimes they come back with the grade I want some times not. At that point I lose money on the resale value. Because we all know some comics everybody wants that 9.6 or 9.8 especially for the monderns. As far as im concerned though I don' t think I' ll be sendingin any more comics to CGC in the near future. Its too expensive of a hobby now a days. What I love the most is reading about the true hobbiest... you guys.
