  1. I filled some holes. My first time there and was a great show. Got a piece of OA from Land/Lestein SpiderWoman run and checked off a few Skottie Young books from the list.
  2. If anyone who is attending and would be willing to pick up a J Scott Campbell book for me, I can return the favor in kind at C2E2, MegCon Orlando or NYCC. Shoot me a message and we can sort it out, thanks!

  4. As as I wind down my ASM 1-150 I was able to get these in a lot with some ASM books I needed. So this begins my low grade X-Men 1-50 run.
  5. Collectorz just updated their cloud based version to allow for a cover artist sort, which is really nice. I am a big fan of the service, I use cloud and mobile apps and so far its been a huge help to getting back into collecting. I have not tried the mobile bar code reader but it is a free option with the cloud or desktop services.
  6. I got a signed Ramos Doc Ock Spider-Man 700 swipe for $7 plus a coupon to take it under $5.
  7. Anyone else collecting the Skottie Young Variants? I have been a collector off and on since childhood and back into in a full swing, my wife and daughter have both gotten into the hobby due to their fondness for his Little Marvel cover work. Admittedly, I enjoy them as well. It’s been great taking them to stores and shows and seeing them jump into the long boxes on the hunt for covers they don’t have and watching them bag, board and file them in their dedicated Skottie Young box. We also picked up the run of I Hate Fairyland which is a very enjoyable book. With some off the sales MidTown has had of late we have been able to put a dent in the collection getting books at $1-$2 range. We are about 80 books in to his covers so far and have more to hunt for. Just curious if anyone else is into collecting his covers.
  8. Just a heads up from a slightly OCD collector, his prints are an off size other than 11by17, I picked one up at NYCC and it wasn’t even close to fitting in my binder I was carrying prints in, so I traded it away. I know I have issues ?
  9. Thank you both! Feel good about the deal I got on this one!
