  1. if 10 for $40, will take: Rebels, Orc Stain, The Wake, Head Lopper, IR 1-3, Memetic, Eight, God Country
  2. I bought it after it had been graded. I noticed the same book (obviously) posted in here though. Really one of those grail books!
  3. I can't believe I'm doing this.
  4. I'm aware that a different convention is different. Thank you for pointing this seemingly obvious fact out.
  5. I will probably try to go one day but that price is a huge turnoff. The Atlanta Comic Convention (totally different) charges $5 and has a lot of reputable dealers 4 times a year. (finecomics among others set up there regularly) I recall a big one downtown around 8-9 years ago. Tara McPherson, Arthur Suydam and tons of other guests and comic dealers. It was great but not well attended. 3-4 years ago Wizard World was here, again lots of big dealers came in to down and the comic section was fantastic but not super well attended. I got to meet and talk with Dale Roberts though.

  8. I own a copy of this. On MCS.com, it says 1050 produced
  9. Just purchased a graded ASM 74 from Adrian. Friendly PMs, book was very well packaged and arrived on time. Would definitely deal with again, thanks!
  10. ...I've seen 8.0's that don't look as good as that one.... what's bringing it down ? GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u I have no idea! Maybe something inside, it's definitely a "buy the book not the grade" example to me A bonus? I'm so used to ebay auctions ending at 11pm I didnt even notice it ended at 11.....am. I'm sure it cut down on a potential night time snipe, although I had a healthy bid in!
  11. Real happy with this pickup. I started collecting TOS, and this is one of my favorite covers.........colors leap off the page. I'd been looking for an 8.0 for a long while, got this one way under what those prices were........and white pages!
  12. Newbury Comics and Bop City Comics, both in Framingham MA were the first two I visited, I don't recall which was the first. Had to beg mom to go, based on ads in Marvels. I bought off spinner racks in the early 90s. My first real LCS experience (with a pull box!) was Stan's Toy Chest in Westborough, MA. My home town, very exciting. I was a constant presence with my paper route money buying mostly 90s Marvels and Valiants. Nothing super old, but having a comic shop right there I walked by on my way home from school was crazy awesome
  13. Would love a Jan 8th datestamp book!
  14. Got 5 well packaged Silver Surfers in the mail quickly. I made a bulk offer quickly accepted, would absolutely deal with again. thanks!
  15. The Harley Quinn copy was purchased off the shelf and stuck with me through a few moves. The ASMs I snagged at a convention out of a dealer box. I felt real confident the 318 would get a 9.8, I thought the 312 had a shot at it.
  16. Ron is a peach and a swell guy when it comes to key books (AF 15). Friendly communication, quick payment, will hopefully will sell to again.
  17. HarveySwick is literally the best CGC board member who resides in the state of Massachusetts. His idea to purchase a Hardcover compilation of "comic books" featuring Dar.....Matthew Murdock was understated, completely appropriate, and topped off by a that was exceptionally well timed. HarveySwick is in keeping with the highest traditions of the CGC boards.
  18. Received a Tales of Suspense 47. The packaging was impeccable!
  19. 4 books arrived today from 3 different boardies!
  20. I again choose with my comic dollar to purchase from the GEORGE SIMS pedigree* collection, and the ASM 65 & 68 holes in my run exist no more! *not officially recognized outside of my collection
