  1. Bought a few books and they were shipped incredibly well! Very well protected and well priced. Thanks for the deal!
  2. $18 for all these including shipping, correct? If so, I'll take them.
  3. Gwenpool Volume 3 and 4 also go for crazy amounts. Zatanna by Paul Dini is another. JLA vol 5 by Waid. Batman and Robin vol 2 by Morrison. Honestly, I’m thinking out of print trades are where it’s at. I bought the Secret Invasion trade for $5 used recently as an investment when I saw the price of House of M trades.
  4. I hate it too. I got my 129 pressed by CCS and it came back like this at a 9.0. I was very happy with the grade, expected lower, but not happy with this.
  5. I thought it was gonna be the Shadow of the Bat issues where the Floronic Man tries to get the world stoned but Batman stops him.
  6. I was confused for a second because I’m high right now, but then I realized what you meant.
  7. I have one that’s got a printing error on the cover where the blue and red inks weren’t aligned so it almost looks like a 3D image. I have no idea if I should try to sell it High or not
  8. I’ve actually been wondering the same thing myself. Since this book was part of a set of four, it’ll bug me a little if it gets a different number, but I also understand.
  9. @ADAMANTIUMmy reholder is being shipped today. Hope yours is as well!
  10. Not yet, it also went to Grading/Quality Control today. so I think we are both on the same approximate timeline.
  11. I also have a ME sent in that was received 2/1. I’ll update the thread with my progress for ya.
  12. The staple placement is fine for most of the books. It ends up looking worse, because the covers are off-kilter moving them to a different spot. Notice how in this picture, the cover has empty space at the spine, and wasn’t in the right spot when pressed. This caused the cover to push over the staple on top so it’s no longer visible.
  13. I just got some books back from CCS/CGC, and some of the books are misaligned pretty badly. It's like the books weren't centered correctly while pressed. The covers are all shifted, causing the pages to peak out of the side in a staircase-like fashion. On one of the books, in the top corner on the back, you can see some of the front cover, but on the front of the book, you can see some of the back cover. It is as though someone applied pressure to the top of the book, then turned whatever was applying pressure counterclockwise. Additionally, only the bottom staple can be seen from the front. Is it normal for books to be like this after pressing, or did CCS just do a terrible job?
  14. If they don’t, that’s just insanely bad service, so I am pretty sure they do. I just gotta figure out how they will when I contact them Monday.
  15. Well, I know why I got my books from 12/30 back so fast. I don’t think they ever went through quality control. They came in today and when I looked at them, three of them had press jobs and were sealed with the cover way off center. Then, another one of my books was backwards in the slab, which I find just absurd. I’m pretty pissed off by this rush job they did, and the fact that it’s Friday and they won’t be open until Monday means I’m stuck looking at their mistakes until then. So to anyone complaining about long waits and turnaround time, please just stop because I’d much rather have to wait longer than have them screw up like this. EDIT: Added a photo for anyone who is curious.
