  1. Is it recommended to double board the comic in the window bag?
  2. Hi, This is the first time I've ever paid CGC for a couple of raw comic book signings BUT I don't know what the $75 Fedex Shipping cost is for. Is it to cover the cost of CGC to send it back to me? If so what does that entail. I'm confused because I'm not sure if its pre-paid for me to ship it via Fedex? I can't find the shipping label. So its for them to ship back to me? Is there going to be insurance on the box when it gets shipped back to me? Are they going to use the same shipping box I used sent to them or do they use their boxes? I'm not sure how this all works. thanks
  3. Could I pack the raw comic book in a way that the signer doesn't damage it?
  4. Tons of great input. I have to admit while reading each post I was swaying back and forth from keeping it in the slap. I've come to the conclusion, its either send in or open the slab at your own risk. Degradation of the comic do occur at CGC upon cracking the slab, hence the disclaimer. Now how often they degrade, nobody knows except the CGC staff themselves. I feel like the best thing to do is to keep the slab itself and find 9.8 candidates to ship in for signing.
  5. Hi, I was thinking of sending in a 9.8 cgc graded comic for signing but am a bit wary of the comic grade lowering as a result of re-opening the slab. I wondering how often does the grade lower upon opening the slab? I've never sent comics in before and only bought them as slabs.
