im 38 and all i collect is GA. we are out there. most of us just dont have those deep pockets to drop 5 figures on a low grade grail just like that. this group is made up of a lot of newer families, so it makes that giant purchase all that more difficult. i dont think i have anything thats above a 3.5 grade at this point, and to be honest im happy with (most of) my .5's for as rare as they are.

ive finished star trek gold key, and have maybe a handfull left before twilight zone gold key is finished. im now going to work on GL V2, #30 to the final issue as a raw run, the early books are in tpb form. im a green lantern nut, ive got the full runs of volumes 3,4,5 and 6 and some other various GL titles in only 4 short boxes! that will keep me busy for a few years. i just sent out daredevil 15-30 and green lantern (vol 2) 20-30 to be graded so that comepletes 1-30DD and sc22-gl30 for GL. im two books shy of a complete superman cover action comics run of 15-40 (23 and 26 sadly) and im 6 books into my golden age GL run of 1-15. i will finish the full GL golden age 1-38 before i retire thats not really one title, but a couple of complete runs ive put together over the years 🤷🏼‍♂️

if you work in a field that deals with any kind of materials, this should be no surprise to anyone. plastics, metals, lumber, industrial gasses and liquids are all hard to come by. basically if it doesnt come from your yard or ebay, youre gonna play the waiting game and the writing has been on the wall for over a year now

i installed a honeywell dehum into my central system 3 years ago. i do hvac so it wansnt a big deal aside from the 1$ a day cost to run it in the summer time. my house stays around 65% in the summer time, but i told my wife its for the kids, better air quality. the gods honest truth was i wanted to see 50% on my thermostat, my golden and silver age books deserve it!!! generally anything between 30% and 60% is ok, i think national archives are kept at 50 or 55% 🤷🏼‍♂️

yes it can be done with the older slabs from across the street. i do not know if its possible with the older cgc ones, i only have the newer cgc cases. i dont know what kind of shill he is, but hes been blocked by others in the past. there is always a dirtbag lurking somewhere, and if he pulls that kind of stuff, who knows what other tricks he has tried to jerk someone over. we have enough people like that in this hobby already we dont need anymore

im not sure im allowed to post photos. its a book from the other guys. essentially prying open the slab, with out cracking it, sliding the book with the label out and cutting it open. its pretty shady but it can be done. just dont want anyone here getting jerked over with high dollar book. this was only about 135$, but man what a horror it would if it was a 1000$ book.

AVOID mrpatrickmc2015. i dont know how he did it. i sold on the bay a 9.8 yellow label danger girl 9.8 witnessed sigs by natali sanders and jsc. he claims it arrived damaged. the two pictures showed a wavy label. thats not how i sent it so i figured ok, shipping damage. i should have asked for better pictures. this has never happened so i said sure, i can send it in to have re-slabbed and inspect for book damage. NOPE! well i get it back today and to my amazement, the case has NOT been cracked at all. but its clear as day the whole inner sleeve was removed. i pull it out and the sleeve and label have been jaggedly cut. there goes my book beware fellas! mrpatrickmc2015 - patrick mclaughlin out of bakersfield CA

ive put together the complete star trek gold key run, complete green lantern volumes 2, 3, and 4. im up to date and complete on the idw tmnt run (working to replace a bunch in the first 50 with all eastman covers little by little). im working on 3 other sets at the moment. i have about 30 of the twilight zone gold keys left to aquire and i will finish that in the next year. green lantern volume 1 i have showcase 22 through green lantern 35, i wont go any further on that so shes done as well. i just started (finally) on daredevil a few months back, id like to do 1-38 to keep it even with the green lantern vol1. little by little
