With Wizard showing zero guests for a convention that's 2 1/2 months away, I'm trying to figure out if enough people would show up to the dinner to make it viable. It's quite a bit of work to organize, so if it's for naught why do it. If I can get a show of hands if you might attend the dinner, I'd appreciate it Some alternatives to the dinner have been discussed, like meeting for drinks after the con or finding a smaller venue, but nothing concrete has been established

Generally speaking, 6.0 - 7.0, but I have no issue dropping down to 4.0 - 5.0 depending on cost

It looks like tape holding together some kind of pouch/pocket. If you look at the bottom edge of the book, you don't see the bottom of the slab. I'm pretty sure that CC takes pics for its auctions, and that pouch/pocket might be there to hold the book in place. You can see it better in the book I've linked below.
