  1. My need for symmetry is going to drive me nuts on this set. I did a 9.8 pre screen and got one 9.9. 😂
  2. If I'm understanding the article correctly, you don't have to get the actual autograph graded. I certainly won't if given the choice. That's just one more opportunity to devalue the book.
  3. My set of Portsmouth Mini-Con exclusive #1 reprints are here. They are incredible! They're IDW color classic reprints of issue #1. 15 different artists each made a variant cover for the con. I just need to figure out what to do with the blank sketch cover.
  4. Rich dropped a reply on Facebook to say he would be selling a limited amount in his site store. So you’re definitely correct when it comes to his batch. I haven’t heard anything about Jetpacks version. Not to say they won’t sell it on their site. I just haven’t seen that said anywhere.
  5. It’s my understanding that Jetpacks version has a black and white cover. Rich’s version is the original red cover. Details of the reprints are here on Rich’s blog: https://tmnt-ninjaturtles.com/tmnt-vol-i-01-tmnt-a-collection/
  6. They’re up! https://portsmouthminicon.com/product/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-1-40th-anniversary-edition
  7. If anybody is looking to get the 40th anniversary #1 reprints made from Rich Horn's original negatives, Kevin still has some on his site: https://fan.kevineastmanstudios.com/product-category/signed-comics/mirage-signed-comics/
  8. 9.8s seem to be in the low $100k area no matter the site. But the grades lower than that seem to vary depending on where they're being auctioned. Heritage just doesn't seem like a good place to send a high grade TMNT #1 that isn't a 9.8. Prices are down from the pandemic pump but Heritage prices seem to be dragging them even lower.
  9. Interesting. I’ve never noticed before. So maybe a good place to buy then even with the buyers premium. I’ve been trying to sell my 9.2 to downgrade since I don’t need a copy that high. But the last two 9.2s sold on Heritage have kind of tanked the price.
  10. So what’s the deal with Heritage? I feel like their TMNT auctions have been going low and screwing up the FMV. A 9.0 just sold on ComicConnect for $20k. A 9.2 signature series finished at $16,800 on Heritage today and that includes the 20% premium. What do you all think?
  11. Yeah it's hard to complain about the price being 6 figures. There's a 9.6, 9.4, and 9.2 SS ending later. I'm very curious about those.
  12. A 9.8 just ended on Heritage Live auction for $105,000 ($126,000 with Buyers Premium). That is $6,000 less than the one that went for $132,000 back on January 11th.
  13. That's exactly what I was about to say. If they're not yellow why bother? I can't imagine a ton of people want another label color.
