  1. I used to read occasional comics as a kid. G.I. Joe, Superman, Spiderman, ect. Comics never were a big thing to me, as I was pretty broke as a young kid, and started working at 13. By then my passion was for things that ran on gasoline. Now in my not so young years, I find MUCH appreciation for the cover art of several different comics, like Grimm Fairy Tales, Notti and Nyce, Lookers, and similar. It's not the, uh, "pornish" theme, but the stunning art and female form. Some, like most Cave Woman covers, are too cartoonish, and I'm not a huge fan. But I enjoying today's cover art, more then when I was a kid. Not to say that there is anything wrong with any of it, just doesn't have the appeal to me. I'm sure this will get a few snickers from some, or the eye roll, but I do think some of these comics are real works of art and I intend to slab much of this to keep it preserved so it can be enjoyed years down the road.
  2. I'm pretty new, and know very little about grading. As a total newb (at 46 years old), I would think that might be a 4-5. I see spine wear, folds, a tear, and some serious dents.
