  1. Hey John, my value tier submission has been in GEI for over two months. So it may be a long while before it moves. It went GEI July 1st or 2nd. Reached out to Jennifer after 5 weeks and she quoted 160+ business days total. It was submitted in Feb so by my calculations it should be finished mid September for mine. Which would put it in GEI for 50 business days.
  2. Thanks, I’m hoping for an 8.0 or higher. Fingers crossed
  3. Hey Jennifer, Sorry to bother the “Ask CGC” boards with this one. But it’s been in GEI for about a month. Are all Value books getting stuck in GEI right now? Submission #: 3813159 thanks!
  4. I have a value that’s been in GEI for 5 weeks now. My moderns PS were moved moved to GEI and shipped in 1 week. Value tier is super delayed right now.
  5. Yeah my Value tier book, has been sitting in GEI for 4 weeks now. Kinda strange.... It definitely didn’t used to move like this. It would be 1-3 days at most in SFG and then 1-3 days in Quality Control this GEI is driving me crazy.
  6. Don’t worry I have a submission 3813159 that’s been stuck there also, apparently it’s a lot of people with stuck submissions. Considering my submission is 25k+ submissions ahead of yours, I think it might be a while. was it value tier?, if so magazine and value seem to be backed up big time.
  7. I have a Value tier 1 book received 3/27, went SFG almost a month ago, then went GEI on 7/5 still sitting there.
  8. Also, in the past when someone got moved from received to SFG, it would give us a good estimate on where our submissions were in the pipeline. But now we don’t have that info anymore because of what CGC did with new submissions And SFG.
  9. Yeah I was replying to the other guy about why people are showing SFG on later submissions. The fact that turnaround times are so out of wack is why a lot of people even post to this thread right now. It wasn’t always like this. CGC is getting hammered at both ends. They are trying to get the million+ they invested into a inventory system they contracted some lame company to build for them, who tried to hold them ransom and then bailed. Also while trying to staff a facility where they are running out of room to store books properly. it’s a FCKD up situation, that it seems CGC is downplaying severely.
  10. So, for some reason submissions that were opened sometime in April and after, were all instantly Moved to Scheduled for grading. I assume it was a mistake or a better way to track when submissions should actually be graded. it’s frustrating when my March submission is still just received, when everyone after me is SFG.
  11. Wow, so do you think they lost your 6 books? I assume you put their declared value at $100 each. So are you asking them for the $600?

  13. So I’m an avid collector of these books and I just happened to see one here. With it signed I would estimate about $1200-1500. A non signed copy just sold for $1000 last month. And a signed with full turtle sketch sold for $2000
  14. Hello, I have a membership and let’s say it expires next month. Am I still able to send out books prior to my membership expiring. As long as the are received prior to the end of my yearly membership? Even though the grading won’t take place until a few months after? I know this question has probably been answered before, I’ll keep searching the forums to see if I can find it.
