Been dragging it out and yet the only reason why return business comes back. Price yes… quality yea….but faith that you would deliver. And coming up on 2 years same thing yet the opening of sports cards entered. 10 plus types more of trading cards. Then boasting a million cards graded. If a system was in place people would be getting prices for cards compared to psa bgs and the perfect pristine would be highly glorified same as a black label. And hype around cgc would multiply knowing the facts and where it stands, so more precise price points can be set in motion. Hell I’m sure there are people in the community that could whip a google sheet up that would be an acceptable beta in no time . Just seems far fetched that 2 years with knowing even before launch that works should have been started. With focus out into it rather than making sure you get to a million and added more into the mix making a longer progression. So Pokémon magic waiting in 2 years 3 does that mean +3 more do baseball and sports to get theirs and an additional 3 years for the 10 plus comics that have been added? As I am sure business is good and most likely increasing but I did not renew my pro membership and stoped submitting for this reason. Would think I’m not the only one as well as I do not want to keep spending money on submissions not being able to know other aspects of grading certain cards. I’m just saying seems like cgc is (A) overthinking it (B) don’t feel they should be putting resources & efforts into. (C) think it will hurt business somehow so don’t plan to. Only keep pushing “it’s in the works soon” or “it’s a top priority wink wink” top is getting more services out there to get money why make something that is free and that doesn’t directly generate revenue but kinda does and people would be much more appealing to people comparing grade company’s. Really wanna be too dog I would hit up TCG player and get in works with them the Grading company that locks TCG player and few other TCG sites will run TCG grading market I feel. currently my point of view in groups I’m involved in or social sites see have #1 PSA #2 BGS #3 SGC #4 CGC #5 HGA in short period will swoop #4 spot and then #3 spot with ease #6 GMA #7 a long list of companies fighting to jump up in the ring and will move on failures of top 6 waiting for the slip just saying I was hooked and really wanted to submit 1000 cards and have my first five Pokémon sets all CGC base-base2

Ok Up date I have sent another card So SGC Sent on 08/02/2021 SGC has since Received my card same exact as the first one just better condition I think. Since then I would update any thing on my CGC Submission but not one of my Submissions are showing on my page. well I guess I cannot be to upset. I used Safari Zone Submissions powered by Lukins That was sent In June LAST YEAR. And at least Here you get responses. instead of rude remarks. threats to your cards... I assume jokingly but are they? No tracker shown no invoice shown. no Emails asking if there was a problem. so Current Personal opinion on Services: CGC: SCORE- 4 / 5 Subtract a half Grade for the Turnaround times Jumping 30 days on a high level Paid Service , Subtract half a grade for the payment System, Along with No Population Report a Year in. Overall CGC is A Great Contender with there Chance to Make a Move but instead of taking it zero in on other objectives. Customer Service in my Experience has been Top notch. Always someone to talk to. even when your taking mess from PSA fan boys in Post someone From CGC reached out which I thought was REALLY cool. a main reason why I have stuck with them. And ultimately feel deep down they have what it takes to become Poke Go to Graders. SGC: SCORE - 4.5 / 5 Subtract a bit of grade for Pop Report, although they have been around not much in numbers for certain categories. I have had only one card Graded and there Slogan Is well what they say it is. down to the point. which I get there price point is nice basically no one is gonna send bulk orders in has that Threshold which is nice makes ya think about what cards ya send in more. There Slabs are cool I like them written data with bigger grade which is what it should be. I mean it is what your paying for right? If there slabs with PSA CGC size that would be sick as I like the black around really focuses on the card. and to some degree though just looks like construction paper. All in All Anything not pokemon will defiantly go to SGC PSA: SCORE - 2 / 5 What can I Say I'm not a Fan. My view Company Built on Sandal Right out the Gate. building blocks of lies. Wayne Gretzky Honus Wagner was graded with the Grader admitting that he Graded the card knowing that it was doctored and altered. Ok so that blows over PSA gets a running start on Grading no competition really So they become the favorite cause really they were all that was... kind of. fast forward 15 some odd years Federal investigation....... Doctor was back and they believe PWCC had something to do with it as well. the biggest auction house on eBay. Soon as things get heated owners sells majority stocks to private group, Joe Orlando Says "LATER" ummm Fishy amongst a lot of other stuff. People were all saying but CGC scandal what a couple employees hyped about the company they work for cause they have a great service. Ill take that over doctors and auction house ting on the industry. Sound to me like a console war Intellivision and Atari literally on national TV mess on each other. happening to me as I sit on the edge of my seat for for about month now for a what should be a pretty decent graded Shadowless zard that I was told was graded already about 2 weeks ago and was waiting to get encapsulated. 12 day turn around to 40+ day turn around in a blink there has to be some thing fishy about that.

OK so Update on the two Cards Currently SGC has delivered my card back I Received a Email on 7/29/21 That My card was in the mail. Also that my card's grade was viewable through my account. On 7/31/21 I received my card in a small Flat rate box packaged very well with a invoice copy rubber banded around the slab. I do like the look SGC has gone with there slabs there tag displays the needed information and a large grade which is one thing I like compared to PSA. I just hate PSA labels they look like a 6th grade power point slide. all in all I will defiantly use SGC for all my non Pokémon cards. If they keep up on there 30 day $30 no bloated turnaround no games slogan they may be a true go to company also having a population report is VERY nice. As for My CGC card I emailed customer service thinking maybe a billing problem was why my card was being held up. With the advertised but not guaranteed 7 day turn around and +5 days for sub grades had changed DRAMATICALLY while my card had just been received from 7 day turn around to 32 days and since has jumped another 5 days putting express at 37! days. I did get a return email from CGC on 7/29/21 and it says they are "experiencing extremely high submission volumes and are working hard to complete submissions as quickly as possible while ensuring the quality of our services." And that my card has been graded and that it is currently in queue for encapsulation. The Card officially received by CGC on 7/20/21 so technically they are still in there turnaround time stated when submitted. So that's nice it just happens to be one of my cards where I tend to watch very closely. I have card scans with resolution that makes real life seem like a video game from 1980. I family in Florida on standby in case I need them to pick up from CGC just in case. This card has already been graded by PSA and BGS but since my base set cards are all CGC this was gonna be its final stop and once returned I will have a comparison of the 3 grades by each company. Teaser PSA actually graded this card lower Than BGS hmmmmmmm. (PSA was the first BGS 2nd and CGC is now the third in that order) Excited and worried to see what comes out of it once this is done the BIG dog version of this card will be hand delivered as I have already done to PSA just a hour drive from me, now I just need to get to Texas to hand deliver to BGS. And finish it with a trip to see family in Florida and deliver to CGC. update coming soon.

OK so on July 12th I sent a Card to CGC and SGC Both locations are in Florida. CGC order was with a elite membership express service level with sub grades and Turnaround times of 7 days for express and an additional 5 days for sub grades. SGC was a basic account basic service 30 day Turn around. Broken down this is how it stacks up to one another. CGC Express with Sub Grades On Elite member account. CGC bill- $98.50 Plus the Additional $32.50 paid for Shipping with $3000 insurance through USPS from me to CGC Grading (1) - 51.00 Handling - 5.00 Sub-Grades- 8.50 USPS Ship- 34.00 So in total for the 1 card with express level sub graded $131.30 $98.50-CGC with advertised turn around of 7 days + 5 days (12 Business Days) Currently I shipped 7/12/21 USPS delivered 7/16/21 nothing else as of now Ok So now onto SGC there thing is No backlog, No Bloated Turnarounds, No Games just accurate grades in a timely manner. starting at just $30 a card. now I picked this company for a reason they have been around for awhile they are a very reputable company and a similar grading style to CGC. SGC standard Service $30 Standard account with return Shipping $15 SGC Bill - $45 Plus the $7.49 paid for Shipping with $500 insurance through USPS from me to SGC SGC 30 day service - $30 Shipping fee - $15 So in total for the 1 card standard level $52.49 $45-SGC with advertised turnaround time of 30 days (business days) Currently I Shipped 7/12/21 USPS Delivered 7/15/21 On 7/16/21 SGC sent email letting me know that they have received my card and appreciate my business And although the card values are different this is just a side by side to better understand things automated emails when cards are received the fact that a population report should have been released instead of opening sports cards and games soon in stead work on the things that need to be worked on. some may see CGC is gonna be the Pokémon standard. well it is starting to look like opening more types of service is more important. This is just a comparison of how company's receive cards and how long it takes to process it all. Fix what matters, focus at the task at hand before tackling a new one.

13 card standard received 5/11 and in grading and quality control still although I did just pay the bill Thursday as I had been pretty busy as of late and haven't really had a chance to check on things seen a few other standards around these times finishing up. hhhmmm idea kind of off topic a little but maybe CGC should have a Forum Page for there premium members to get answers or info a bit easier or more quickly since other than the discount nothing else really comes from paying the 300. I mean it paid off it self cause I know I saved over 150 in services over the year but with wait times and price increased and discount reduced not sure if it is worth it at all now

Thanks for all your input everyone as things begin to open up I have been getting outside more with the kiddo and left the cards alone for awhile but as luck would have it I am now having to re-Skirt the entire house and insulate and paper under due to raccoons trying have there babies. My genius neighbor thinks there cute and friendly and clean so she feeds them giant bowls of food and they come here by the dozens. with the car having blown the engine it has made it a little difficult haha. we will see what happens mom and pops helping out when they can but it is a lot of work but managing best I can with just about 200+ cards at CGC Could defiantly use them back right now to help pay for some things.

Well its already the end of March 2021 heading into April. And as things tend to get better... or worse depending who you are. The card world is still back logged worse than it was. More and more people thinking it is a gold mine of money out there. I don't know maybe it is I have not Received the 2nd or 3rd round of stimmy's or received my tax return. Yet out here there are drug addicts running around with thousands of dollars. So as I sweat how I'm gonna pay for my submission, Or even when. Surprise!! charge.. Prices keep going up and turn around times along with it. So now cards that should be paying for other cards are taking longer and now there is no longer a buy market cause now every one and there mothers are all certified Pokémon experts and sellers. That and the fact its sealed product selling for $1000 a booster box when a complete set is selling for $600 if your lucky to find a buyer. cant go to the store and just buy some packs. card shops have raised prices too. so in just 6 months everything fun about the hobby has turned to mess. So I set a goal awhile back to complete a couple binders. and one of those Binders is to complete base set in 4 variations (1st edition) (shadowless) (unlimited) (1999-2000) and now what was once possible now seems to be possible if I win the lottery. Cause 1st edition Charizard last year few grand obtainable. Now what seems half a million for a graded 10 and for a bent fresh out the washer and dryer one for 4k. And to think I'm 48 cards from completing all 4 variations, but thinking of throwing in the towel. Except no one will pay half what the binder is worth prolly. even with about 50 of them so far in cgc slabs. Cause it would be nice to get them all in slabs for protection but that would cost 4K and wouldn't get them back for a year. And to think the other Binder is Jungle 1st edition and unlimited with Fossil 1st and unlimited along with Team Rocket 1st and unlimited. (jungle is complete) (fossil 18 cards left) (team Rocket 40 Cards left) So with little money I have besides trying to keep my son wanting to stay with me cause his moms parents buy him anything and everything pay for it all life must be amazing. 10 people in that house all the time so kid just goes to the next person who is not ready to spank his and send to bed cause yup just me lol. And he is with me about 70 Percent. So with more cards on my hands a 4 year old hating me more each day prices going up for cards Along with turnaround times, a kid to young for school cant afford 1000 month for daycare. Kid will not let me mess Cause Got to be right next to him. Don't get me wrong I enjoy that I get time with him I love it. but I'm losing the fight. And the one thing I use to Enjoy doing Just is not fun anymore. I was able to run to Walmart for some stuff and pick up some packs enjoy looking for cool boxes or discounted items has disappeared. I was at the point where my son and me were sleeving cards together he was almost to point of Enjoying with dad next level, but now he has lost interest. posting on eBay wish I had the time yet I continue to send in cards to get grades to hopefully sell to pay for the cards I need to finish the binders its the only way for someone with little money. so through all the complaining and whining I just did it was a vent cause I don't have any other way place or people to vent to. even if this gets zero reads I feel a little better. but in the end I stare at my stuff with no emotion or care anymore it does not bring enjoyment as it once did. but something has to be done with it all.....

yes they are being applied to all orders even ones submitted before the increase in turnarounds announced as I have a order that was received on 11/23 and so today being day 30 technically, and it is yet to be scheduled for grading and Like I said in my email that would have been nice to know or at least given a option to perhaps change service level as I would have not done a bulk and sent half of them on a different level........ I know its a estimation but I estimated to have them back around this time if not sooner. Disappointing cause rather than fix the areas that need attention (pop report, Turnaround times, Customer Service) It looks as though they are still putting efforts into sports cards site CSG fix and finish something before starting something else cause it will just lead to un satisfied customers.

the turn around time has dramatically changed in just a few months first bulk sent arrived 9/21 was (9/24 received 10/21 shipped) 2nd was 10/9 arrived (10/13 received 11/3 Shipped) 3rd was 11/13 arrived (11/23 Received has yet to move) holidays and surge of submissions I understand and Hope that is all it is newest bulk arrived 12/18 (received 12/18 same day that was nice to see. Just hope to get the other bulk before the newest one. will we see Turnaround times change back or is it only looking to increase? also are "ALL" submissions affected by new turn around times? while I'm at it ask another.... And is Sports sector up yet would like to get some in early or later if I missed that train Are any of them affecting one or the other in creating delays for things like Pokémon magic population reports? thanks!

also think of it this way 150 you get 150 back 300 you get 150 back now are you gonna use CGC enough that the discount comparison between tiers of membership will cover the other 150 your paying for elite and that once you pass that mark it actually starts saving you?

yes they take it out when they get your cards and tally it all up just did it for me a few days ago

If you do not plan on grading much or is perhaps a one time thing you think, With a possibility of a second down the road my advice would be to use Ludkins or safari who will charge you a good price and also take very good care of your cards
