  1. Hello! I need some help with a common mark on comics I have seen several times over the past 6 months. There appears to be an imprint (looks like a nail from a thumb) on the top left corner on the back cover of several comics I have. I first noticed this when all 4 copies of Magic #1 Santa Fung variants had them and now 13 out of 15 copies of SIKTC #1 8th print has them and even my BRZRKR #1 2nd print foil has it. Has anyone else seen these, would they get 9.8s, or do they need to be pressed or worked on? I was able to use a tack iron and ball on a few but they still had a small mark that I could never get out 100%. And does anyone know the name of these if they have one or know what they are from?
  2. Im basing this on if everything else where to be "Perfect" would these marks deduct from the grade from a 9.8 to a 9.6

  4. So I just purchased a comic that is in a cbcs slab and I have never opened up a slab and was wondering if I could just send in the CBCS slab and they open it and and can grade it them selves? I have watched videos and am pretty confident i could do it just don't want to mess up since i spent 1k on it and don't think its a good one to practice on
  5. It is a small tick and i just have seen these enought to finally ask about them and I think i might get a tack iron and try that instead of pressing the whole book but Im just trying to get input form others to see what i should do!
  6. So I have a brand new ASM 62 by Kirkham, I want to get graded and theres this small tick not on the spine but on the edge of the paper i have seen this maybe once every 20-30 comics i get in and want to know what the effect will have on the grade if everything else is perfect and can it be pressed or should i press it?
  7. Hello, so i am trying to get 3 of my brand new Amazing Spider-Man #55 Patrick Gleason copies graded. Yet i have a few questions, I know there are different variants and I have the basic cover it is not signed nor is it the virgin variant. (1.) So for variant do i just put "Patrick Gleason" or "Trade Dress", or what should i put. Since theres none graded i have no idea what to put. (2.) 2 of them have these knick or wear marks yet they are brand new, never even taken out of the plastic. Will that effect the grade? I read somewhere about Binding issues like it will not effect the grade yet I think the top one would be okay if that is correct but the one under it is pretty bad (Included photos). (3.) Last question I am trying to get the spider man special label yet i dont see the option anywhere and even looked where i selected the type of grading i want based on the price of comic? I am sending in a separate (none marvel) comic is that why? do they all have to be a marvel comic sent in for it to show?
