Good news: CGC customer service was all over it. They will, of course, fix them at no charge. But now they have to be mailed, again. Bummer. 

I'm stunned that these could slip through the pre-shipping review process. But mess happens. I'm sure it'll all work out.

Both are confirmed real signatures. Also, a CGC witness can literally be anyone who applies for the role. They then have carte blanche and are not supervised by CGC.

The colour of the label already doesnt distinguish between a book that is part of a CGC sig event where its officially a CGC rep that witnesses it and a sig witnessed by joe schmo at a con. Both mean that CGC sees the sig as being legit. So if the goal of authentification is the same, legitimizing s signature, then why should the label be any diffeirent?

A signature series witness is not just anyone who applies for the job.  A signature series witness does not have carte Blanche and is in some ways supervised by CGC. 

There is a big difference between the two services.  A witnessed book a CGC witness watched them sign the book. The verified book someone says the think it is real.

Yes they do.  Go to the CGC booth first.  Many good people there to help you.

Just got back from a great weekend in Las Vegas. We got a lot of books signed. I want to thank everyone who sent books for us to do. It was a pleasure and a challenge. Thanks to Tristan Pence and Maro Cruz, would not have got done without their help. Here are some of the books.  All books posted are done with permission of the owner.

I have met Julie Newmar at 3 different cons. She is very picky about how she signs. She signs where she wants in the color she wants. She Almost always wants to personalize the signature when she is signing one on one. When she is handed a stack of books she may personalize the first book but after that she just signs. These 2 books I personally watched her sign.  They are real.

WITNESS & PREP FEES

Celebrities

The first celebrity signature witness fee is $25 for Headline Cast members.  The witness fee for other celebrities is  $15 per signature. Over-sized items require a negotiated amount in advance. 

Pricing does not include the guest autograph charges. Please refer to the website for guest charges. Also, note that the published rates may vary from those posted at the time the event begins.  It happens, folks.

Prep:

Cracking slabs: $5 each.

Window bag prep: $5 each.

 CGC SUBMISSIONS

Your Account 

You will be invoiced by CGC and the books will be returned directly to you without incurring any additional witness fees. 

Our Account 

Grading costs charged to you according to the requisite CGC Tier.

Miscellaneous CGC Charges

Multiple signature charge after the first 3 new signatures is $5 per additional signature per book (mentioned above).

CGC handling fee of $8 for each submission form (basically, per tier).

Fast Track add $15 per book.

For domestic destinations, return shipping by CGC is $15 for the first book and $3 for each additional book, per each submission form. Alternate forms of shipping are available at additional cost. International shipping will be handled on a case by case basis.

Payment to be made in advance. Preferred payment is  Paypal, Money Order or personal check, please.
