I just up-graded my Batman #62 and am putting my under copy up for sale. The villain covers have been hot as of late (i.e. Joker). The most recent GPA sales were both in March 2019 a 6.0 at $2045 and a 4.5 for $810. This is the 3rd Catwoman cover following Detective 122 and Batman 42. This is also the origin book with identity revealed as Selina Kyle. I am gonna average the two most recent sales and price this book $1495 insured and shipped. I prefer checks and money orders. My house was damaged by a tornado here in Oklahoma on Memorial Day weekend...and my dog ran up a big bill during 3 days in intensive care at the vet due to an unrelated matter...but I have yet another reason to raise cash. All my children are grown, so I don't need baby diapers, but I am rapidly aging, and now is a great time to build a stockpile of Depends, if for nothing else than making cross-country drives without having to stop at restrooms. 1st “I'll Take It!” in the thread wins and trumps all private negotiations. NOTE: To maintain an even playing field, a simple “take” (but nothing shorter) will do. Make sure to quote the book you are taking. Payment by PayPal within 24 hours of invoice. This will be a short listing and active for only a couple of days. I like to get payments in, ship books right out, and get back to things like reroofing the house, repairing a blown out dining room window and replacing all of the fencing that landed on my patio up against the back door. New to Comic Book Grading Process

I am brand new to the comic book grading process. I have roughly 140 comic books (mainly Batman) from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. From the research that I have done, there are probably 20-25 key comics that are worth over $100 each in the lot (depending on how they are graded). There may be one or two books in the $300-$500 range. At what value level is it worth it to get a comic book graded? Also, what is a good ballpark figure to get 20-25 books graded by CGC that are in the $100-$500 range each? I tried researching this as much as possible, but can't seem to find the answers. I want to sell the collection within the next six months if at all possible. Thank you for any help you can provide! I have attached pictures of some of the books that I am looking to possibly get graded.

I noticed that mycomicshop.com valued them at more than what I paid for them ($7 apiece) so I would like to keep them in as good of a condition as I possibly can. -

I'm continuing to consolidate my collection a little bit and I'm still doing some house renovations so it inspired me to pull another 50+ books. I'll probably have to do 3 sessions, this morning till about 11:30 EST, Tonight from 8 pm till about 10 pm and the rest tomorrow night at 8. The slabs have not been listed before, some of the raw books were listed previously at higher prices so they should be bargains now. I added them in because some of the slabbed books are a little more expensive and I wanted books in all price ranges in the thread.. The raw books have not been cleaned or pressed. As for the slabs,I submitted most of the books and many were pressed by Joey Post. I marked the ones that I know for sure were not pressed or cleaned (because I don't have all of my books pressed or cleaned). I'm going to do shipping at my cost to be fair to those who are out of the Country or across the Country or near me. If you need a shipping quote, just ask. I use regional boxes whenever it's practical and I pay for private insurance and if you spend more than $200, I will pay for the signature that my insurance requires. I accept Paypal, Checks or Money Orders. Payment is due in 7 days unless we have made arrangements before you hit the Take it sign. I expect payment within 7 days unless we have made other arrangements before you take a book. First take it wins. In case of a tie, the one visible on the boards wins. Returns for any reason, but the book must be returned in the same manner it was shipped within 7 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer unless I made an error.. No list people please. As for time payments.
