Hi Friends. 1 book. At first sight I thought this was a VF book but having carefully scrutinised it I would give it a 7.0 Qualified. I have owned a few copies of this book and this is easily the best raw copy I've seen to date. The upside The book is firm and tightly bound. Pages are supple. The spine is lovely and plump with no stresses. It's obvious the book has never been pressed. Pages are off white. The downside The very last page has been very neatly razored out, God knows why. Having said that no damage has been caused to the book by this action apart from the annoyance of the missing page itself. $150 $135 £120 First in with $100. I have a batch of lower grade, fair to good condition pulps and thought I would thrown these out in auction format for this group of five. I believe they are complete but did not go through and count every page. The interior pages may have some tanning but for most don't appear to be brittle and are quite readable. The covers however do have some marvel chipping along the edges as can be seen in the photos plus some may have tape as can be seen - for the most part covers are attached but there may be some that are detached or becoming that way. Still lots of great GGA covers and stories by great writers and fairly presentable. The thumbnails are clickable to view a full size picture. I have uploaded pictures of the front and back covers plus an interior pic showing one of the line illustrations from the book. Also within the spoiler is a index of the stories and noted artists from http://www.philsp.com which is a great resource. Paypal accepted. No PL or HOS residents. Shipping will be at cost to the buyer and I will let the buyer choose how they would prefer to be shipped. I doubt if the shipping would be worth it to folks outside the US but as long as you pay the shipping and no untruths of customs forms, I will send. I would prefer no returns since these are what they are in the condition stated as seen. Payment expected within 3 days after end of auction. BIN is $65 plus applicable/chosen shipping. Unfortunately, they were average VG (give or take). Out of the group, there were about 7-10% Canadian Editions, 50% VG, 15% VG+ - F, 15% F+ or better and about 15% VF OR BETTER! There were some Jungle and Jumbo's that looked like they were printed yesterday! A LOT of white pagers as well ? With all that being said, I need some HELP! This is my first time purchasing comics like these in a group and I want to get them... My plan would be to spread them around and flip most of them to recoup my funds put out for purchase. I'd like to keep the majority of the best copies for my personal collection. So I ask; at what price per book would be a GREAT DEAL and what would be a MAX per book in order to accomplish what I'd like to do??? I know it is not the easiest to answer sight unseen, but with info provided, I believe the knowledge here can help me out. At least I am hoping to get some help... Ginger Comics 1-8, 10- Lot Sale This will be for a lot sale of these books. I prefer not to break them up. I reserve the right to if I choose to. I would not sell the 4 for less than $650 by itself. These books have been incredibly hot lately. Some of these are the nicest copies I have seen available. I am looking for $1850 shipped Priority in the US for the group. I will be ending this listing Sunday evening. I have it broke down like this, but am not looking at individual book sales at this time: 1- 4.5 - some light tanning on inside covers. Foxing on bc and some pages. (Easily $250) 2- 6.0- very light sub crease- flat and glossy- looks 7.5 (Easily $250) 3- 5.0- but would press higher (Easily $150) 4- 5.5- Presents 7.5 but back cover could use cleaning, 1/2" upper spine split. Small tears on bottom spine and bottom cover. Nicest copy I have ever seen available even with that. (Who knows?) 5- 3.5- Would benefit from a press. Bottom spine split- ($80) 6- 7.5 at least.
