I am wondering before i make a purchase for the associate level membership when i make a submission form can i add more than one card and when i make a submission does it cost for shipping and if i add more cards does that increase the amount i have to pay to ship the cards (Pokémon)?

Just wondering what the verdict is on these cards - I grabbed a few off of eBay and would LOVE to hear your thoughts. The seller wanted to play it safe by saying he expects them to be NFC. Either way, fun to look at. Secondly - will CGC just send them back to me if proven to be NFC? Or will I be charged just the same?

Who else is getting the shaft lately? Not only did my cards get sent in over 6 months ago, extended grading periods 3x, and been sitting in grading/capsulation/finalizing for over 2 weeks! I am getting absolutely no customer service emails and haven't for 3 messages all about 1 to 2 months apart. This is not right and I will be grading at sgc only. They had my cards back in 9 business days for a 25-30 business day approximately Not once but twice!!! I'm over cgc what happened I paid $250 and did two submissions I got one back but still waiting for the second. My subscription is over in a couple months has well and seriously not even two submissions done. Screw that.- 10 replies

OK so on July 12th I sent a Card to CGC and SGC Both locations are in Florida. CGC order was with a elite membership express service level with sub grades and Turnaround times of 7 days for express and an additional 5 days for sub grades. SGC was a basic account basic service 30 day Turn around. Broken down this is how it stacks up to one another. CGC Express with Sub Grades On Elite member account. CGC bill- $98.50 Plus the Additional $32.50 paid for Shipping with $3000 insurance through USPS from me to CGC Grading (1) - 51.00 Handling - 5.00 Sub-Grades- 8.50 USPS Ship- 34.00 So in total for the 1 card with express level sub graded $131.30 $98.50-CGC with advertised turn around of 7 days + 5 days (12 Business Days) Currently I shipped 7/12/21 USPS delivered 7/16/21 nothing else as of now Ok So now onto SGC there thing is No backlog, No Bloated Turnarounds, No Games just accurate grades in a timely manner. starting at just $30 a card. now I picked this company for a reason they have been around for awhile they are a very reputable company and a similar grading style to CGC. SGC standard Service $30 Standard account with return Shipping $15 SGC Bill - $45 Plus the $7.49 paid for Shipping with $500 insurance through USPS from me to SGC SGC 30 day service - $30 Shipping fee - $15 So in total for the 1 card standard level $52.49 $45-SGC with advertised turnaround time of 30 days (business days) Currently I Shipped 7/12/21 USPS Delivered 7/15/21 On 7/16/21 SGC sent email letting me know that they have received my card and appreciate my business And although the card values are different this is just a side by side to better understand things automated emails when cards are received the fact that a population report should have been released instead of opening sports cards and games soon in stead work on the things that need to be worked on. some may see CGC is gonna be the Pokémon standard. well it is starting to look like opening more types of service is more important. This is just a comparison of how company's receive cards and how long it takes to process it all. Fix what matters, focus at the task at hand before tackling a new one.

Well its already the end of March 2021 heading into April. And as things tend to get better... or worse depending who you are. The card world is still back logged worse than it was. More and more people thinking it is a gold mine of money out there. I don't know maybe it is I have not Received the 2nd or 3rd round of stimmy's or received my tax return. Yet out here there are drug addicts running around with thousands of dollars. So as I sweat how I'm gonna pay for my submission, Or even when. Surprise!! charge.. Prices keep going up and turn around times along with it. So now cards that should be paying for other cards are taking longer and now there is no longer a buy market cause now every one and there mothers are all certified Pokémon experts and sellers. That and the fact its sealed product selling for $1000 a booster box when a complete set is selling for $600 if your lucky to find a buyer. cant go to the store and just buy some packs. card shops have raised prices too. so in just 6 months everything fun about the hobby has turned to mess. So I set a goal awhile back to complete a couple binders. and one of those Binders is to complete base set in 4 variations (1st edition) (shadowless) (unlimited) (1999-2000) and now what was once possible now seems to be possible if I win the lottery. Cause 1st edition Charizard last year few grand obtainable. Now what seems half a million for a graded 10 and for a bent fresh out the washer and dryer one for 4k. And to think I'm 48 cards from completing all 4 variations, but thinking of throwing in the towel. Except no one will pay half what the binder is worth prolly. even with about 50 of them so far in cgc slabs. Cause it would be nice to get them all in slabs for protection but that would cost 4K and wouldn't get them back for a year. And to think the other Binder is Jungle 1st edition and unlimited with Fossil 1st and unlimited along with Team Rocket 1st and unlimited. (jungle is complete) (fossil 18 cards left) (team Rocket 40 Cards left) So with little money I have besides trying to keep my son wanting to stay with me cause his moms parents buy him anything and everything pay for it all life must be amazing. 10 people in that house all the time so kid just goes to the next person who is not ready to spank his and send to bed cause yup just me lol. And he is with me about 70 Percent. So with more cards on my hands a 4 year old hating me more each day prices going up for cards Along with turnaround times, a kid to young for school cant afford 1000 month for daycare. Kid will not let me mess Cause Got to be right next to him. Don't get me wrong I enjoy that I get time with him I love it. but I'm losing the fight. And the one thing I use to Enjoy doing Just is not fun anymore. I was able to run to Walmart for some stuff and pick up some packs enjoy looking for cool boxes or discounted items has disappeared. I was at the point where my son and me were sleeving cards together he was almost to point of Enjoying with dad next level, but now he has lost interest. posting on eBay wish I had the time yet I continue to send in cards to get grades to hopefully sell to pay for the cards I need to finish the binders its the only way for someone with little money. so through all the complaining and whining I just did it was a vent cause I don't have any other way place or people to vent to. even if this gets zero reads I feel a little better. but in the end I stare at my stuff with no emotion or care anymore it does not bring enjoyment as it once did. but something has to be done with it all.....

Forgot Halo Variant on Recently Submitted Submission

Hi, I recently sent in a submission, it has not yet gotten to a point where it shows up when searching My Submissions. It seems i forgot to add the Holo Variant to the holos that are part of that submission. Is there anyway that can be include on those cards without me having to resubmit? Thank you, James -
Just would want the CGC company to be in there own lane and how they started to put Custom Labels To comic Books I Hope They Start Doing It For Cards To Make The Cards More Unique and distinguish who’s company is it that we have CGC will be a force to be reckoned with!!!!

Recently CGC comics have announced the Marvel labels that look amazing! Is this something that could transfer over to trading cards?As the biggest issue people in the trading card community seem to have is the look of the label.

I’m just not happy with the speed in which the cards are being graded like if I would have known CGC was going to constantly change the turnaround date or literally wait the last minute to grade I wouldn’t have sent them in. I’m tired of seeing “received” on my order. I honestly would have just paid the extra $2-4 for the cards to come back in half the time

First time trying out CGC, sent in a small batch of 7 cards to be graded. Paid the highest possible price for supposedly 2 day walkthrough grading. CGC received the package on dec 8th, posted it “scheduled for grading” on December 9th, and have had no update since. Very unprofessional for a company to state roughly 2 days and not be able to complete 7 cards in 4 days and counting. No warning of delays posted on website before or during submission. No emails sent personally to let me know about any delays. Will not be returning to CGC and taking my business to BGS for $50 premium service.

I'm new to the whole idea of grading trading cards and I've been kind of wondering what would happen if I sent the same common card 50 times in a bulk order. Do they analyze each card individually and would I expect to see variation in the scoring of each card? -

Hello! I'm a Mew global collector at Pokemon TCG, which mean I'm after all variants of cards featuring that Pokemon as main object or in the back, referred to in the text, etc. I'm thinking of having my collection slabbed to have a clean uniform presentation for all my cards, however I have many interrogations first regarding what CGC would grade. In particular the following: * misprints of all kinds (misaligned sides, shifted miscuts, twisted miscuts, crimps, square cornered cards, cards with extra material, crimps, sheet edge, ...)? Is it possible to choose the label to give to a misprinted card when submitting? * sealed crimped Ancient Mew (where only the Mew itself is crimped and not the insert)? * sealed crimped Ancient Mew (where both cards are crimped)? If so, would the label be different from the previous case? * advertisement cards, such as loose Ancient Mew inserts, "Catch Mew" cards, code cards...? * very unusual languages, such as Thai, Indonesian...? * maybe a fake/proxy card, with a label indicating so? (I don't really believe you would but that's worth asking still). * jumbo cards (Corocoro format and standard jumbo format). Additionally, and not related to the Mew collection, I have a few unusual signed MtG cards I'd love to have slabbed to protect them. However, these cards are not signed by the card artist, but by other people. Does CGC have an autograph label for this? Here are 2 examples: * Gallowbraid card, signed by Jake Rogers, from the band of the same name. * Advertisement card for MtG Minecraft mode, depicting Chandra planeswalker, signed by Magali Villeneuve in a square Minecraft fashion. When sending in cards mostly bulk and a few standard. 1. Does the bulk take less time and come back with the standard cards? or 2. Do the standard cards take longer to come back and come with the bulk? or 3. Are they sorted out when received and they have their own timelines? Do i ship all cards together and separate out different service levels? or Do I ship each service level in its own package? Thank You in advance -

Hello I am a new Pokémon card collector and I am wondering if it would be smart to send in a couple cards to cgc. I’ve looked at all other grading services and this seems like it will be the best for me long term. I have a secret rare Salamander VMAX rainbow rare that I just pulled today as well as some other not as hyped cards, being grimmasnarl VMAX 115/189, Houndoom V 021/189, and Rhyperior V 095/189. I will submit photos of these and just want people’s opinions on whether or not I should send these cards in. Also how do I send them in and what price range would my cards go under.

I recently mailed in my first submission to CGC, however, I am worried, due to the market going crazy lately for some pokemon cards. Some of the cards I submitted were XY Evolutions Holo Charizards and their value on the day I mailed them was between $60-80, I believe. However, within a few days of me mailing them, they shot up in value, doubling I think at the very least, which would put them in a higher bracket. I sent cards in as I could finally afford the submission with the $150 credit in mind. Will my cards be bumped up a bracket, even though they were mailed before the value rose so suddenly and high?
