Hey everybody, I was wondering if anyone out there has any available Silvestri or Romita Jr. X-Men pages available (from the Claremont era). For Silvestri, the X-Men vs. Avengers miniseries from 1987 is also fair game and anything with Pyslocke in her full on armor and cape costume is very welcome. Really though, I'll take a look at whatever you got! I have gone through Overstreet's guide and I can't find any guidance there as to flakes. The flake on the bottom right cover is a decent size and I've put a dime next to it for size comparison. I know there are other issues like the subscription crease running down the center, but the staples are tight and in good shape, the book lays flat, and I would have it pressed before submitting it for grading. Any thoughts on grade and direction on cover flakes is much appreciated.

First Time Poster...Long Time Reader. Hopefully my image quality is up to snuff any recommendations on how to improve what I post here would be great! About the comic: X-Men 266, picked up at a local Goodwill. No press or clean yet, debating if worth the effort based on it's current standing with my other backlog of items to get to. The left side front cover seems to have an interesting "valley" (if that's the right word) not sure if that can be pressed out. Also back side bottom right corner has a minor crease mark that again not sure if press would get it out.

I'd appreciate feedback on this X-Men #129, which I am considering submitting to CGC, I'm a little hesitant because so far none of my other X-Men (#101, 103, 109, 120 and 121), which were in similar condition, have come back with a 9.8, even though I had thought at least some of them would. Does this one have any chance? I'm guessing not likely, due to that little bit of spine stress, which is such a killer. Anyway, please let me know what you think.

Okay, I bought a Modern collection to read and release. So I have been reading and am going to get started releasing, as I know a few boardies who took books in my recent G/S/B thread are waiting to see if they want anything here as well, in the interests of combined shipping. There will be a lot of sets/lots; this guy was a read-once-and-bag collector. I will start with Marvel and DC titles; Independents will follow. Somewhere in there will be the various one-offs/variants/minor keys he bought just because the book seemed cool to him, but again much of it will be sets and/or lots. 5 Simple 1) Payment is Check or Money Order -- its not about fees; I just don't have or want Paypal. 2) First wins; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread. 3) Shipping: One book U.S. first class can go in a flip n ship mailer for $5; 2 to approx. 10-13 can go Priority for $7 (flip n ship mailer inserted into Priority Legal Envelope); after that its Medium Priority Box at $14. (If I can save you a couple bucks with a Region B, I will). 4) Returns: I'd hope not, as the vast majority of these are at least VF/NM or NM, with a few outliers a bit either way. I will call out grades for the few that are significantly lower. This WTB isn't picky to a specific issue or artist, but rather i'm open to any art (be it original pencils/inks or color guides) from the X-Cutioner's story line. Priority does go to anything by Jae Lee. Covers or Interiors only, no original art done via commissions or any art that wasn't published in the final released story. Obviously the price is dependent on what you have, but i'm fully comfortable with expecting these to run several hundreds of dollars each page or more. Show me what you got and let's talk! -

After that, stackers go in a medium priority flat rate box at $14. Canada ships at actual. Don't be listy including the little one in my head.
