Maybe a little (way, way) too much...and now that I've decided to really focus on finishing my Uncanny volume 1 run, I need to part with a few short boxes of comics. Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! And to celebrate, here is the 9th annual Dale Roberts Comics Holiday Sales thread! There will be 100s of books in this thread, hopefully something for everyone. The one constant is that everything will be cheap! I have bought literally thousands of books this year and the majority of books in this thread have never been listed anywhere else, not even on my website. I have been setting stuff aside especially for this thread all throughout the year. There will be tons and tons of deals in this thread. Not only will everything be very tightly graded, but most books will be significantly discounted, some books up to 70% off of market price. There are keys, semi-keys, movie books, high grades, mid grades, and low grades, and as always, lots of books that you just don't see around, and almost all of it will be CHEAP, heavily discounted in some cases! Lots and lots of bargains for the collector, and room for dealers to make money. Lots of Neal Adams, Bernie Wrightson, Jim Steranko! Frazetta covers, Raboy covers, Schomburg covers, LB Cole covers, GGA, Pre-code horror, Pre Hero Atlas, and cool Romance books that you just don't see. I can't imagine that you won't be able to find something you are looking for at a very good price. I will be listing several times in December and the thread will wrap up in early January! Invoices will be sent in early January, and no shipping will occur until that time. So even if you don't have enough cash right now, you have about 1 month to save up for your purchases. As always, payments will be due at the end of the thread. I will not be mailing books prior to that time. As always, Satisfaction is Guaranteed. Hi all. Still relatively new to the boards - but thanks to all the folks who've provided help. I'm slimming down my collection in preparation for a move - and in particular am planning to sell my fairly small collection of CGC books (most of my collection isn't graded). Here are a couple pretty key books I've had graded along the way. All of these are in pretty much pristine cases (I almost never handle these books - just keep in the bags and boxes from CGC). Hi. I am putting some books from my collection up for sale. I have sold books in the Gold/Silver section, but this is my first sale in the Copper/Modern section. Not sure if there is any interest in these, but will give it a go. First gets the book over PMs. I will accept PayPal, MO or personal checks (must clear). I ship everything USPS, and can mail up to three books in a Flat Rate Priority Envelope for $7.00 and anything over that will be mailed in a Priority box for $13.00. My shipping is fast and rock solid. All books are unrestored. Back covers are all clean and fresh with no writing or date stamps. Pages are ow/w or better. Hi guys!, im new to this site so hello firstly I have a few subs on the go at the minute and i want to start a few more but not not what ones would be best for me so was looking for some info on what current ones might suit my taste Also if anyone has a list of must read X-Men TPBs that would be great So first of the 3 is X-Men, now iv not read any of the comics before, however i really liked all the movies and i used to watch the cartoons and play the games as a kid. My favourites are Wolverine and Gambit and i really like the characters generally in the original films, so any with them in might be good. Second we have Spiderman, now i used to read the amazing spiderman for a while until issue #700 when it finished, i read some of the new one it changed into and then dropped it because i had to many, is that one still going?, i really like the villians in spiderman if thats of any help. Lastly superman, open to suggestions on this one wether superman or action comics is better etc, again i like the villians so would like to see some good ones Thank for any help and advice you can give in advance
