I thought thses comic books were lost and gone, but then I found that they were being auctioned off I’ve already reported to the police and have had them flagged as stolen, If you happen to own these comic books please return them back to the original auction company you purchased them from, do not buy if you see them online being sold, there is a police report on this item, I have not told the auction house the correct information as I am letting this be handled by the police, These comics will be red flagged a stolen, I have talk to a police officer if anybody would like the number of the police officer I will not be providing the information on here as like I said I am only allowing this to be handled by the police, I noticed that this webpage changed when I posted this as I think that the auction house is deceiving people and I believe they know that this items were stolen as I can prove receipts and I can also prove that these comics were in my position in New Jersey which is where the items were stolenhttps://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/126921893_spider-geddon-0-cgc-graded-98-signed

Hello! I was just looking over some Heritage Auctions, and noticed that there is a Captain America Comics #1 for sale in poor condition. For some reason, the book is in a qualified slab. Is there a reason a book in 0.5 condition would be put in a qualified slab? I thought the purpose of qualified slabs was to get the highest possible grade if a given defect were not present, making it seem almost pointless when the comic receives the lowest grade possible (other than a NG). I included some pictures below.

Hey there comic community, dare I say "True Believers". So as you guys know John Beatty has provided so many of us with fantastic art work at many comic cons, let along his contribution to what some could consider very Iconic work like Secret Wars 8. Well I found on his Facebook page that he has a GoFundMe page trying to help his Father-in-Law who is dealing with some medical conditions. The link to the GoFundMe page will be posted below above his Facebook page link. Now I know we can all disagree on who the best villains are, or what makes a classic comic cover, but what I know we can all agree on is when the comic community bands together there is nothing we can't do. Let's see if we can't all ban together and help him reach his goal tonight? He has been providing updates on the page as well, I know we can do this!! https://www.gofundme.com/f2mcquws https://www.facebook.com/Johnbeattyart/ I hope this is the right section to post this and I didn't intend any board violations if I made any.

\ Second City Collection: CGC's #1 Rated Avengers Set BID NOW! AUCTION ENDS WEEK OF JUNE 11-15TH Timely Comics (Marvel’s precursor) packaged their most-popular heroes into the Golden Age hit, All Winners Squad, hoping that fans of Cap, Subby, or even the Torch would start picking up the other titles as well. Come the Silver Age, the tried-and-true tactic was employed again as Stan Lee and Jack Kirby took newly minted heroes and cobbled together The Avengers, a super team boasting all the characters who were then populating Marvel’s recently revamped anthology titles. ComicConnect is offering CGC’s #1 Avengers registry set in their current Second City Collection Auction. “This incredible set, a nearly complete run of the series, is a snapshot of comics history, and boasts a slew of highest-graded copies, pedigrees, and price variants,” explained ComicConnect’s COO, Vincent Zurzolo. “As befits the Second City Collection, it’s a collectors’ dream, and the results of a labor of love. I know I’ll never see another collection like this again.” Investor collectors can bid on Avengers #1 CGC 9.6, #2 CGC 9.8, #4 CGC 9.6 and hundreds more, including bound volumes and group lots. Plus, Zurzolo said he was thrilled to offer the Chris Evans screen-worn costume from Captain America: The First Avenger. Visit Second City Collection Auction to view and bid on every lot.
