  1. Annual Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention (WCSCC) at Langley Event Center in Langley, British Columbia (BC), Canada has allocated 50 x 8' dealer's tables for Pop Culture along with 200 x 8' tables for sports cards and memorabilia. Friday November 22 to Sat. November 23, 2019 general admission is only $5. Sunday November 24, 2019 is Family Day so admission is FREE. 2,000 FREE parking spots are available next to the Event Center of which 200,000 square feet is allocated for this yearly convention. Chain restaurants and cafes about 1 block away. Website to be updated next week but vendor info is at Bossa's Sportsfest in Langley, BC Also, I am looking for someone to share at least 2 side by side 8' x 30 inch dealer's tables with. Each table comes with two (2) dealer's badges and is economical at $60 plus GST for the entire 2.5 day event (not per day). There is 4' of space behind the table so a vertical wall rack may be erected to display your comics, mags, photos, sports cards and memorabilia. Loading zone is flat through the gates to the ground level convention floor. The early bird deadline of October 1, 2019 for this reduced vendor rate is fast approaching so please pmail me ASAP, if you have an interest or hockey cards to sell there.
  2. Vancouver Comic and Toy Show on Sunday November 3, 2019 at Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) Forum Building at 2901 East Hastings Street (at Renfrew St. corner), Vancouver, BC, Canada. 225 x 8 foot vendor's and independent press tables sold out. Over 22,000 square feet of pop culture fun at this comic and toy-centric convention. Top door prizes are two (2) $100 gift certificates to be used for comics and/or toys at the show. ATM bank machines and food trucks provided at the show. Street parking is FREE. Admission for this colossal show is $12. Updates and pics of their previous exciting shows may be found at Vancouver Comic Show after Hallowe'en A wait list has been set up if you wish to vend. Hope to see you all there with your want lists.
  3. Well, here's the stuff that doesn't really fit over in the GA section. Like the title says, weird bits. I'll get one up this evening to get the thread started, and add items here and there as my whimsy moves me over the next few days, DA RULEZ I'll put up a big scan of the FC, note anything else I spot, and as always, if you'd like a scan of the back cover I'll be happy to supply it. Shipping to USA preferred, but if you want something sent to Canada or overseas PM me and we'll work something out. :TAKEIT: rules the roost, but PM's, kibitzing, and general tomfoolery are welcome. $8 Priority flat shipping to the USA, unless otherwise noted in the text for an item. For the bargain minded, I can ship one or two comics ONLY, for $4 First Class. Everything else goes Priuority flat rate or Priority medium boxed. CHECK OR MONEY ORDER PREFERRED, I just plain out don't like paypal. If you just GOTTA pay with paypal PM me and we'll work something out. Returns for any reason on your dime, and for any missed major flaw or bad description on my dime. My Kudos thread: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=4287314#Post4287314 Here we go! Bulletman and Bulletgirl Dime Action Book Thin cardboard covers, exact format as a Big Little Book, page of text, page of illustration. This copy has a corner off lower RH FC, plus a chip or two out along the spine, small split lower LH FC along spine, some general wear. Interior is tight, cream, to offwhite pages. Small name stamp of previous owner page 1. Asking $50 Back cover
  4. The November 23-24 event is shaping up to be the best DALLAS COMIC SHOW creator line-up to date. Check out the guest list, featuring some of today's hottest writers and artists, and a few classics you don't see at shows too often. There's even two fellas coming all the way from the UK, so this is definitely worth attending. If you've never been a DCS before, you're in for a treat. It's never overcrowded, all the guests are approachable and accessible, no one is overcharging, low price admission, and FREE parking. Al Ewing – writer of Marvel’s hottest book, THE IMMORTAL HULK, and story architect for MARVEL COMICS #1000. 8. So I am looking around the at the X-Men Classic series, but I am needing some help on understanding it. I understand that each comic is a reprint with a little more detail of a specific comic like the first issue is a reprint of Giant Sized #1 and issue two is a reprint of X-Men #94. My question though, does anybody know if these comics flow as their own individual mini-series, or since they are reprints of what I see as random comics does that mean they really don't mix together as a story going from issue to issue or do they? I attempted looking it up, but couldn't find much.

  10. WE are Vet Comics and Collectibles, Lets start by stating we are not new to comics, 30 plus years collecting, just new to selling online with them and website building. We have alot of great comics and we have posted an initial listing of comics that should appeal to all collectors for the time being. The thing that makes us a little different is you have two military veterans one active duty Army and one retired, prior Air Force together we have 10,000 plus, too many comics according to our families. We are in two different states one of us travels the world and looks everywhere he goes and the other has too much time on his hands and searches local and the web like crazy. So if your looking for a comic or collectable we might be the guys to have it or find it for you for you. Again constructive thoughts are welcome but again keep it positive we already hear enough from our wives. So visit us at VetComics.Com show some love for some fellow collectors I promise we have brought something from some of you guys. Veteran Owned, Founded, and Run...
