Most of these are from an original owner collection. The later books are nicer (he got older). I bought them from a nice man who is a forensic auditor, he loved staples as a kid (maybe now too) because a number of the books had notes stapled to them. I pulled those books out and I'll probably post them as freebies, , but if I left one in accidentally and don't mention the staples let me know. Despite his claim, some of the books he did not buy off the rack (they were published before he was born). All of these books are complete, no missing coupons. I counted the pages on everything, but anyone can make a mistake so if I missed something, let me know. Nothing was pressed, spindled...ok, maybe spindled, he read them all...except the doubles, there are lots of doubles. Some books (about 50) I purchased off the boards in the past 6 years and I included them. Most of these are very inexpensive and to keep that way, I have a little less detail than I usually do, but just ask if you need more. I should have front and back pictures for everything, even the $1 books, if I don't, just ask. I want to combine shipping for you, so I will hold whatever you buy until I finish the thread, that might take a few weeks. If you want something mailed before, just ask. I accept Paypal, checks or Money Orders (or diamonds;) ok, maybe silver for these;) I expect payment within 3 days of the date I invoice you unless we come to some other agreement before you take a book. If you need to do time payments, please let me know before posting a take it. Shipping. I will ship these any way you want, that means yes, I will do media for these. I have not shipped much media in years because the rules mention comics, but my post office says it's fine with them. I do not know if media is fine with YOUR post office, so if you chose media mail, I can't be responsible for anything that happens along the way. I prefer using regional priority boxes and I can usually safely pack 40 books in a box B, but it's up to you. Media will be cheaper. I charge exact postage, however you want me to send it, USPS, UPS, FEDEX, Carrier pigeon (that might be a little tough) but if you have a question about the cost of shipping...or you live in Outer Mongolia, you might want to ask before posting a Take it. Packing. I pack carefully, even $1 books. I don't mail books without boards unless you request it to save weight, however, I don't have enough bags and boards for 1,000 books (and I'd have to raise the price if I bought more) so some of these books might be in older (not yucky, just not brand new) bags and some books are 2-3 to a bag and board. First Take it wins, no matter where you post it, here or in a PM. If you are talking to me in a PM and someone else posts a take it on the boards, they win. If you want to post something in a PM in the middle of the night, post the time please. Returns, if you are unhappy, just let me know, if I missed something we will work it out. Have a whole bunch of books sitting on the stack that are not going to end up in my long term collection so this will be a medium size thread. Lots of random freebies will be mixed in. Rules: PayPal only please. Shipping is a flat $14 for slabs $7 for raw books (in the US only, sorry) unless stated otherwise, shipped in a USPS flat rate priority mail box for slabs. Nobody from the lists. First wins (including over PM discussions). No returns unless I have overlooked something major, so please be sure before you purchase. I've been collecting Superman and Batman for quite a while, but I've been getting away from SA and BA books, so I'm going to be listing that part of my collection during the next few weeks. I'm going to start with the BA books, then the SA books, then add quite a few 10 cent books, early SA/ Atom Age/GA...whatever you want to call them;) I plan on listing books for about 2 hours at a time. I'll note the days in advance and the time. If I won't be able to be there at that time, I'll hopefully let you know in advance. There are at least 450 books that I'm going to be listing, so this will take a few weeks. Feel free to accumulate the books and pay at the end, unless you prefer not to wait. There will be one thread for the BA, 1 for the SA and one for the early SA/Atom/GA books, but you can combine the books so that you can take advantage of the shipping discounts. Since these are all raw books, I'm pricing by looking at completed prices on eBay, then I deduct what fees would cost me and a little more. I accept Paypal, checks or Money orders. First here or in a pm wins, by time stamp. If I can't determine the time stamp, the board take it wins. I will send invoices at the end, once you get the invoice, payment is due within 3 days unless we have discussed other arrangements. If you need time payments, it's not a problem, but please PM me before taking anything. Regarding this first group, the 15 cent and up books. Prices are going to be low on these books (at least I think they are low) All the books are raw, A few notes. None to the best of my knowledge,have been pressed or cleaned. I count the pages on every book. I look at the centerfolds to make sure they are attached, if they aren't, I note it. I look for missing coupons, and I grade the way I'd like someone else to grade for something I'm buying, but anyone can miss something or make a mistake. So...If I left anything out, just ask. I take returns on anything. If you aren't happy for any reason, plmk within 3 days of receipt. If I ask you to return the book, then I expect the return within 7 days, packed the same way I sent it. If you just changed your mind, shipping is on you. If I made a mistake, return shipping is on me. Shipping, I will charge exact shipping, but I will discount if you buy a certain amount. Spend $100 and get $5.00 off shipping, $200 and get $10 off shipping, if you spend $300 or more, I'll ship for free (in the US, in Canada I'll split shipping with you if you spend more than $300). If you live anywhere else, just pm me for shipping estimates before you buy anything. For the USA, I use regional boxes whenever it lowers the shipping price. I don't charge for handling. All books are bagged and boarded, most are going to be in new bags and boards. Most are in Mylite 2's and hardbacks. I can ship 2 regular (1 Giant) books in a cardboard mailer for about $3.00 3-5 books in a flat rate envelope with very strong boards (one will have a wood veneer) for $6.00 12 books in a regional box A for about $8 east coast, $11 West coast. (if it's less I charge the exact amount.) A regional box B is slightly higher. I do not ship comics media mail, because the Post Office states they can not be shipped media (it's in their regulations) and I don't want to be responsible if there is a problem. Tracking is included and so is insurance (I pay for private insurance.). If you buy more than $200 worth of books, signature required is a must, but I pay for that. I can ship first class to Canada, but its not cheap. Max is 4lbs. I'm going to add a lot of freebies on the thread. If the requirement is # of books, that can't be combined with one that has a money spent requirement. This way, hopefully a few different people will get the freebies;) I also add some kind of free gift to each order. No list people please.
