Hello guys I just wanna ask a simple question. I got a card from ebay and was about to submit it for grading but unfortunately found out a major flaw on the surface. This wasn't in the description nor the photo. At a certain angle or low light the scratch isn't visible. Seller was so detailed on uploading a lot of pics except for this one😅 Well... Before I thought it'll be at least a 9.5+ and above not knowing that scratch would be there and now everything has changed🥲 To my valuation grade of this card will be... 1) Centering 9.5(or10)/10 2) Coners 9.5(or10)/10 (minor whitening on one corner) 3) Edges 10/10 4) Surface ?/10 (clear surface but one scratch on the holo part) I have no clue on how the scratch would affect overall grading. Could someone give me an insight? Would it downgrade -1, -2? or -0.5?

Hello there! I am moving soon and I have a few orders with CGC, one scheduled for grading and the other two that have just been received. I was curious to ask if there was a way to update the address that my orders will be sent to in the event that I moved before they are ready to come back. You for your time and response.

Hello Everyone! We have gotten this question a lot recently from Chat Board DMs, Social Media posts, emails, and phone calls so I wanted to post the answer to this here to preemptively make it more accessible to everyone. At this time, not all of the SDCC submissions have been received in the system. We plan to be receiving these for the next 2-3 weeks. For all of those that attended and saw how busy it was, we thank you for your understanding as this is always one of the busiest shows for us, and does take some extra time to completely receive all the books. I will be pinning this post to the top of the boards until we have finished receiving all these orders into the system. We thank you for your patience! -

yu-gi-oh! Issues Submitting Yu-Gi-Oh Card for Grading

Good Evening, I am trying to submit my Yu-Gi-Oh! 2006 Toon Dark Magician Girl SP2-EN002 Participation Promo Limited Edition (Limited Ed) Ultra Rare | Worldwide English card, but every time I select the card, the "Add Trading Card" button stays greyed out. Does anybody know why this is? As far as I know, CGC grades English Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, so I do not understand why the submission form is not letting me add the card. If anybody has an answer as to why this is, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

I have a missing submission in the the "My Submissions" section of my account. I have two outstanding submissions, one has been marked as "Grading / Encapsulation / Imaging" and the other has been marked as in CCS as I'm having it pressed first. However when I checked today that CCS submission has completely disappeared from the site (the last time I checked was in mid May). It's the weekend so I can't call anyone until Monday and I'm kinda freaking out, has this ever happened to anyone before? I'm really hoping it's just a site error as it's Miles' First Appearance issue. edit: if it helps any I submitted this comic back in Oct 2021, its been stuck in CCS for a long time I assume because of the huge backlog

I am prepping a fairly large shipment (as I suspect are a lot of members right now) and has a couple questions. If I create one huge submission, can I split that into a couple of shipping boxes so I am not sending more than 40-50 per box? Also, if I have say 30 modern books without pressing, can I designate 25 of them for pre-screening or do I have to make different submissions for prescreens if I have the same tier on the same submission? Thanks for your help in what is no doubt a busy time.

Hi there, just wondering if anyone else is having this issue today. When checking to see if my cards have moved on from the g/c/I stage I'm met with just a spinning wheel and no submission details. Been happening all day on and off the home network. Thanks -
I have purchased multiple books from Torpedo, that they have sent in for pressing/grading, but I can't seem to find a way to track the progress on these submissions. I know Torpedo can, and will, look them up for me, but since I've submitted quite a few since April I'd rather not be a constant pain to them. I know that I have at least 2 'submission' numbers from them (all start with 'CGC' followed by a 10 digit number. Thank you, Smodcastfan -
I submitted two comic books for grading and sent them to the Florida address. UPS states that the package was delivered 11 days ago (delivered on 3/5/21). Any idea how long it will take to appear in the "my submissions" area? I know the grading will take a long time, but I want to make sure they received it!- 69 replies

Hi there, I keep getting this error, along with other errors while trying to submit, it keeps happening when im trying to add to my cart. Other errors occur even when loading into the submission forms itself. How would i even get to submit if this is happening.

I just got my statement for my first CGC submission. I entered my card info when I filled out the online submission form, so is there any way to pay my balance online instead of printing the document that was emailed to me and sending it in the mail? I sort of expected that the fee would just be taken from my card since, as I mentioned, I entered my billing info online during submission... Any help is greatly appreciated! Best wishes.

CGC show maximum card values that can be submitted dependant on the service level they are submitted at. But it is not a 100% clear whether this value is the Raw value or the potential graded value... which is it?

First time submission for myself and I'm just making sure I get this correct before going forward in the submission form. In the bulk submission, do all cards need to be a max declared value of $100 or can they vary and the price per card just reflect that max value? I have various values of cards and just want to make sure I can or can't send a max value card of higher than $100 in a bulk submission. Thanks. -
I am currently submitting a lugia card that is holo but i forgot to mark holo on the submission form. I have not mailed it out yet but cannot seem to edit this mistake. Do i need to proceed with mailing or redo the order?

Hey, I want to grade my Pokémon cards but if I’ve added al the cards to the basket with all the correct information it doesn’t work, I select my shipping and then go to checkout but the submit button stays grey. Does anybody know how to solve this? im from the Netherlands btw kind regards, Ron

I just recently upgraded my membership to Premium and I was wondering how to use the $149 in credit. When I looked at the submission form online, I notcied they were asking for card information. I am assuming that they will go ahead and charge me the full amount once I click submit. Is there away around this? dO THEY PUT A TEMPORARY HOLD AND JUST DRAW FROM THE CREDIT AMOUNT INSTEAD? -
How long should I expect to wait between my package being delivered to CGC and my order appearing in the submission tracking section?

Hi guys, I am about to do my first CGC comics submission using the online form and hope you guys can help with my question here: I fully understand that I need to pack my books in the exact order listed from the generated packing slip rather than the order I submit my books in the form. However, I would like to pack my books in certain order so I am wondering if the packing slip order is generated with certain logic so I can adjust the order I submit my books, so that when packing slip is generated, the packing slip order is the order I intend to pack my books. Not sure if it is possible but I think it's worth asking here before I try it myself. Thanks heaps in advance! -
I recently attended a Clayton Crain signing and had him sign my Dceased 1 variant for grading purposes. I submitted it, that day, through a "valet service" at my local comic shop considering i don't have a personal account. Has anyone done this themselves, whats your feedback, and how long did it take? I have my large shipping box on the way and want to ship in the smartest/least expensive way. I have 9 books I don't need pressed, Modern. 1 1973 book, so that's Value, right? About 10 books that I'd like cleaned and pressed. Should I submit these in the same large shipping kit? If I'm right I would get 3 shipments back, correct? Thanks! -
Hi, I am noticing that most of my new slabs received today have some kind of gunk on the inner plastic. This is my first submission with CGC, do I need to pay more to have them put into clean slabs? Is this normal? They are all 9.8, but have staining all over the slabs. I feel like it will cause problems for me if I decide to sell one day. Thanks!

Hello, I am having some issues finding Absolute Carnage (Connecting variant Ac) in the submission form, has anyone been able to find it? It's a little weird, because they also don't have the correct publishing date when I do select Absolute Carnage. Thanks for the help!!!

I'm sending books in for the Todd McFarlane signing also and went along with setting up a free account. The private signing form that I printed was quite long. If I upgrade to a Premium Membership, am I able to submit my books online for the McFarlane signing as opposed to printing out the bulky paper form? I'm sending books for both custom labels along with the standard CGC SS labels and hate to print the 7-9 page form twice for each invoice. Thanks! -
