Thanks Kav! Yeah she was a 2 min scribble just getting used to the new pens. Still looking for a real nice blue pencil.

My goal is to draw a whole page with no photo references at all and make each person look unique and the same from panel to panel. So many comics these days all the faces look the same and you can't tell what is going on.

I tried every kind of blue pencil with no luck finally found some blueline markers that worked great ..Illustrator Blue Mirage needlepoint.

you can have blood spraying back off blade!  this will create action lines.

Deadpool can be saying "@!*%$! no matter how many ninjas ya kill-there's still the same amount of ninjas!" in the spirit of him breaking the 4th wall and how movies always do that.  This can be done with a sharpie but the paint has to be smooth-I use my finger to make smooth areas.  Just smear paint right onto canvas from finger.  I've done a lot of complete paintings just using my fingers.  For example this sgn for local business.  All finger painted:

liquify paint a bit and put in small squirt bottle or maybe thin straw or get airbrush opaque carmine red and be sure to stir the thick stuff up from the bottom-just shaking dont work unlike 007 you want stirred not shaken then drizzle rapidly outward from blade in arc.  practice first on newspaper then go for it.  cover over splash with acrylic.  Bottom to top.  here's a pic that doesnt show actual color bottle is opaque carmine is blood red.

So do I cover the image I don’t want spray with paper and go for it ?

I’ll probably do some toothbrush spray near the top as well

Heres where I’m at .. once background is done ... spray should be last thing yes ? 8F69398E-4306-4952-90D4-44CC3A2309A3.thumb.jpeg.77b4fb864b04381858a9df53e74f8cd0.jpeg
