Honestly, I've never had a single book graded, and don't know the first thing about how difficult a 9.8 is to pull. While I've taken pretty good care of the issues, reading once, and slipping it into a bag and board, I feel like the odds of these being 9.8 off the rack to begin with is low, in NYC especially. So I would err on the side of caution and consider these high grade reading copies. Averaging VF/NM. I don't want anyone to be disappointed with the quality if they bid and win, which is why I started all the lots off fairly cheap. (thumbs u
