ian, do u have kids youre planning to pass your collection onto when u die?

Nope.

At the moment, my Mother gets them all, as I owe her a fortune anyway.

Why does the movie "Comic Book Villians" enter my mind.

Tell your Mother to watch out for a guy named "Chuck". gossip.gif

Great shots of your collection. I hope you complete it, Ian.

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!

Yea look out for Chuck. 27_laughing.gif

I won't if fraudulent villains from Denmark keep scamming me.

Your collection is a legend in your own time. Your collection if not already will be famous.

Why don't you get some of your pricer comics graded by cgc. Action #1 in particular.

I was under the impression that cgc holders are more protective than mylar and boarding.

Er.......... it was.

Having been there myself, it is kind of like discovering Aladdin's cave.

Thankyou.

Sadly it's Aladdin's cave with fifteen missing instead of twelve.

Was there an enormous horse's [!@#%^&^] waddling around in Aladdin's cave?

893whatthe.gifthat is one BIG collection 893applaud-thumb.gifthumbsup2.gif

From the way it looks on the photo, they look like they are stacked up on top of each other , are they? if so wouldn't it be easier to store them standing up next to each other?

Hope you get the 15 you need 893crossfingers-thumb.gif.

Firstly they won't quite fit. The shelves were built before the comics went on them.

Secondly, because they're supported all the way up from floor to ceiling, it preserves them far better laying them flat.

The reason you all adore the Mile High comic collection is because Edgar Church stacked them flat eight feet tall. The pressure of being laid flat keeps the pages flat and pressed.

I love seeing huge collection pics like that. A while back Diamond Galleries had some pics of Richie Evans and his awesome Timely collection of years ago. Quite awe inspiring! thumbsup2.gif
