Those are all great candidates for best pch cover ever! :applause:

I agree! They definitely made my Terrible Top 25 List from this past October. (thumbs u

Ya know, now that I look at how those three covers are arranged...It looks like it could be the same guy getting tortured. First a poker near the eye, then his head explodes, then they remove his brain.....

The first GA Wonder Woman books I bought were on these boards, from your good self.

So you helped to start me on that journey (worship)

:acclaim: Glad I could be of help. I'm jealous now though of your lovely #1

Alex--that's some serious low grade intimidation you have going on there! lol

My list has been a little lighter this year as I spent the majority of 2010 getting back into my SA Marvel grail hunt. But, it wasn't totally devoid of some sweet, sweet GA pickups  You decide...

First, this book was actually purchased in 2009 but for all intents and purposes, it became a brand new book in 2010 thanks to Ze-Man:

Here's the before (minus the interiors)

Here's the after!

And yes, the interiors are there but I the cover is where all the work was done.

Next up is a more recent purchase:

Probably my biggest acquisition of 2010 though would be my copy of Superman #14 that I picked up from ft88... which I still need to scan. lol

I also managed to get my hands on an affordable copy of the BEST train cover out there (Yes, Action Comics #13, I'm calling you out!) with Superman #3 thanks to PointFive!

Then I snagged another big book I was always a fan. Since 1st appearances in GA DC are just too pricey, 2nd appearances are something I like to acquire:

So... yeah, not a bad year in the GA collecting department for me this year

I was operating on a fairly limited budget this year and at first guess I didn't think I'd be able to make much of a top 10, but in retrospect I've had a great year -- as far as books go. But looking back, I've had an even better year from a relationship perspective within the hobby. The limited budget made me focus more on enjoying what I have, appreciating smaller purchases, and allowed me to make some nice trades; but primarily it made me focus on the people in the hobby, many of which I already knew, but some of which I got to know better. I'd list them, but I'm certain I'd miss some and some who aren't on the boards would miss the sentiment. But at any rate, I tip my glass to them. Enough with the sappy sentiment, on to the funny books.

First, a trio of Atlas gems with Heath & Everett galore. :cloud9:

And then a couple of books that were on my abbreviated want list -- you know the one you have, but have little expectation of ever acquiring because of scarcity and poverty? To get two of these in one year was very fulfilling, but now has me delusional that I can find more on that list

(I know this is only 9, but I have one en route from Heritage that will hopefully make #10.)
