No, I only got an apology from his agent, Renee, who was the only person I ever had any communications with.
Popular Post Subby1938
I posted picture of this Spiderman art by Ron Frenz and remark on right side by Rick Leonardi but I added the last piece to this set in a custom 1/4 scale statue . It really does the art justice and all of it looks great together Edited August 20, 2020 by Subby1938 Benedict Judas Hel, fenip, MagnusX and 8 others

Popular Post Webhead2018
So last month Joe St. Pierre was doing sale for full body sketches on sketch covers or 9x12 art boards. So I decided to take up his sale. And ordered a venom sketch. Sent payment on Aug 8th. He completed the sketch today and sent me a pic of it. And I hope to have it in hand in next few days. alexgross.com, Benedict Judas Hel, JadeGiant and 6 others

Popular Post Brian Peck
Mishi Kato iPod (currently playing Flight of the Bumble Bee) I first requested a 17x22 wraparound cover style commission from Jeff and when he was done I then decided I wanted him to add to my "Draw Me an iPod" theme. Love it, Jeff added "Flight of the Bumble Bee" on the iPod screen. That is the theme from the 60s TV series. Popular Post Brian Peck
"Who is the Real Green Hornet" by Jeff Butler I am a big fan of the NOW Green Hornet series especially when they brought in Mishi Kato. Too bad her character didn't last, powers that be didn't like Kato as a woman. Jeff drew alot of the series and a number of spin-off series, also known for working on the first issues of Badger with Mike Baron. I had been wanting a commission from Jeff, contacted a couple of years ago but he didn't have the time. Fast forward to a month ago and he contacts me and says he has time for my commission. This is an idea I have been toying. Brit Reed and Ikano Kato ((original GH and Kato from the 40s) on one side with Paul Reed and Mishi Kato (current NOW GH and Kato) on the other side. Plus a female Green Hornet Jeff had done for a commission, just liked the idea, a bit cheesecake. Jeff added the framed on the wall in the center are Brit Reed II and Hayashi Kato (60s TV show) photos. Plus framed photo of the Lone Ranger and the half photo on the right is Fran Striker who created both Lone Ranger and Green Hornet. Plus a couple of Green Hornets on the wall. Not part of my original request, great bonuses. The Green Hornet logo is similar to the late 40s Harvey comics with the Green Hornet pose taken directly from it. All lettering and trade dress hand done. Jeff blew me away with this commission. He was fast and some of the BEST packaging when he shipped the art. I also had him do a Mishi Kato iPod piece. Size 17x22 on heavyweight illustration board. Edited August 27, 2020 by Brian Peck alexgross.com, BuraddoRun, JadeGiant and 5 others

Benedict Judas Hel
I got in a new 11”x17” commission today from Johnny Segura III of The Misfits (No, not THOSE Misfits): This commission is not of my usual two character choices but since I already got those 2 previously from this artist before and since the artist had suffered losing his home from the recent hurricane activity in the Gulf Coast, I decided to get another commission from him to aid him a bit with his current financial need. cgcsketcherz
Forgot this one was eligible for here too. Scooby Doo mash up from Kraven's Last Hunt art by Greg Woronchak. Signed and thumbs up sketch by Mike Zeck. Colored and signed by Steve Lydic. CGC SS, I really appreciate the fact CGC now slabs prints, it allows for bigger encapsulated dimensions for paper art. Popular Post fsumavila
haven't been much of a commission guy, but this year I decided to scratch an itch I had to get some work from artists I love (and whose OA is HARD to get). One piece I commissioned was this killer Batman & Robin from Lee Bermejo. I asked Lee to put his spin on the classic Carmine Infantino image of the Dynamic Duo on a rooftop, patrolling Gotham. I think he absolutely nailed it -- especially Robin! Can't wait to get this framed. Dwitkin82, BCarter27, Andahaion and 9 others

Popular Post comix4fun
I've had this itch to get a piece done by Alex Riegel (Google him or look on facebook, especially in the comic sketch/commission groups). He's got a funky organic style and he hand letters his pieces with a sort of deformed surf-art style and color palette that I just really dig. At the same time I've been trying to find a way to get an idea for a Musician-themed set of pieces done. Specifically, a set of Dave Grohl "evolution" pieces taking him through the last 24-25 years of Foo Fighters. They've written and performed so many great songs I wanted to marry the idea of a set of pieces taking him through his career, with three of their most memorable songs...concentrating on their most memorable lyrics from those songs. So I joined the ideas and had Alex Riegel create them...three pieces, each 11x17 mixed media, full color, hand-lettered, with Dave Grohl growing over the years and evoking lots of great images from their song catalog. Better descriptions written on my CAF gallery, with larger scans, but I will post the group image here. I HIGHLY recommend Alex Riegel for commissions, under-charges, over-delivers, very professional and really has a love for what he does Everlong: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1669830 The Pretender: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1669831 These Days: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1669832 Much larger individual images on CAF: Caltex98, Benedict Judas Hel, AnkurJ and 3 others
