Conspicous by their absence thus far are:

16 - Doom!

25 - purple Hulk vs. Thing cover, much better than 12 IMHO

51 - one of Kirby's best

57 - my favorite Doom cover

My favorites are:

  • #7 -- campy and Strange Adventures-y.
  • #13 -- invisible hand in foreground is an interesting effect
  • #48 -- "Good lord, what's that in the sky?!?!"
  • #49 -- BOW before the power of GALACTUS!
  • #82 -- INCREDBILE action cover. One of Kirby's best ever.
  • #84 -- Doom looming sorta like on #39, but with MUCH better style and color

My favorite is #82, pictured below:

#1- sort of primitive compared to present day flash but in it's own way quite perfect to start the series.

#15 and #22 - My two favorite Kirby/Ayers covers.

#18- Roussos was a terrible Kirby inker but this is a great cover.

# 29 and #31- My two favorite Kirby/Stone covers.

#40,#43 and #44- three great covers in which Colletta's inks actually look good on Kirby's chiseled pencils.

Kirby/ Sinnott- where to begin?- #46, #48-50, #55, #57-68, #71-74, #82, #87, #95

Annual- #3-5. Heck, just about all of them! conservo.
