Moderns that are heating up on ebay!

Hulk 449 should be heating up real quick with Netflix news :gossip:

;)

Still just a rumor, but which team would they choose? With Punisher and Elektra coming in DD Season 2 I'd think that's the one they'd be inclined to go with since the characters and actors will have already been introduced. Problem is how do they get the rights for Deadpool and Agent Venom?

whatever characters require the least amount of CGI

Why does eBay not show the "best offer" received price on the completed sales listings when it sells for less than the asking price?

http://m.ebay.com/itm/IMAGINE-AGENTS-1-DETROIT-FANFARE-VARIANT-NM-HIGH-GRADE-ULTRA-LOW-100-PRINT-RUN-/321807694078?nav=SEARCH

Comic book invest has it "just hit $200" now. Going by how eBay lists it, makes it look like it's heating up, when actually it went down:

http://comicbookinvest.com/2015/07/28/variant-heat-check-for-72815/

:gossip:FYI my actual sale was $100, $15 less than the last sale at time of announcement.

Same with my Spectre 54 cbcs 9.8, I sold it for 100 weeks before the announcement, same as last Cgc sale at the time, still says $180 sale in eBay sold listings. I know you can adjust to view actual sale someway, but still very misleading to the public.

You sold it for 50% of your asking price? Do you normally do that?

Some days yes, some days no. Send your best offer, and it might be your lucky day...

Well it seems odd that you are kind of complaining about skewed numbers but you're accepting what I would term "lowballs".

He's the one pricing himself out of the market. Certainly helps my sales. :)

This ^

I would have thought the asking of $200, Almost 2x MORE than the last sale, would have been more of a  than the actual sale price

Also...

http://m.ebay.com/itm/Imagine-agents-1-Detroit-fanfare-retailer-exclusive-/151259214823?txnId=1268207344005

Just ignore them nothing wrong with your logic.

What do you guys think of the Southern Bastards 10 Charity variant that comes out today? Pretty great cover, makes a political statement (Alabama based book with a Alabama-born author condemning the Confederate flag), and it's for a great cause. I could see the cover getting some national coverage.

So when a press release like this comes out.....

“Fans of the comic book know that BROOKLYN ANIMAL CONTROL is a thriller anchored inside the world of New York organized crime families,” said Jackie de Crinis, Executive Vice President Original Programming, “At its core, it is a family drama, albeit an unconventional one.”

and no comic book exists???

Digital comic

San Diego, CA (March 27, 2013) – What if werewolves were actually living among us? What if they had been for hundreds of years? It’s a wild thought, isn’t it?

Wilder still, what if these clans of werewolves were actively policed by a government organization?

That’s exactly the intriguing question IDW Publishing is answering today with the release of BROOKLYN ANIMAL CONTROL, a darkly thrilling digital one-shot from writer J.T. Petty (Splinter Cell, Bloody Chester) and artist Stephen Thompson (Star Trek: New Frontier).

Had the same thought when I got the release yesterday - glad I'm not missing out.

Okay, it's been a couple of weeks now, so I'm giving up on reorders hitting the shelf. Who grabbed all of the copies of Rivers of London? I've been reading the book series and wasn't aware a comic series was in the works. I can't imagine that the upcoming television series should have too much impact on the comics since the characters first appeared in books. Any thoughts?

Depends how the TV show adaptation goes. Never say never as I heard this argument made 2 years ago about The Strain. That project was frst pushed for TV by Del Toro when that didn't happen he co-wrote the trilogy of books and then the comic book series and following series hit the shelves long before the TV show aired. People still want to buy them as long as the show is a hit. 2c

Fortunately I managed to find a copy of the comic to read but it's a little beat up. I don't intend on spending to upgrade. Just seemed odd to me that copies completely disappeared.

Yes, but prices are weak for the Strain books imo.

They all can't be WD levels now can they?

I don't see the Strain books turning into WD. I love that show, but no way it gets a cult following or similar prices.

At least I hope not...been wanting to get a 9.8 #1 but don't feel like paying $150 for it. I figure in a year or two they'll be drek.
