The Vision by Tom King is heating up, various issues and lots even without the hard to find #4

Good pick, but my, oh my why? :insane:

It's a series that casual readers are actually buying and issues 4 and up are increasingly harder to find. I've had no problem getting multiples of 1-3 at cover still, after that forget it

New 52 got off to a roaring start, and then faded quickly.

Morrison's run on Action is underappreciated.

I would say it's appreciated the right amount. But I would also say that the art did a disservice to the story. The comic would have sold better with better art, but DC hasn't really treated Action like a keystone franchise in a long time...although that might be changing...

Agreed, seems like 4-6 are the harder ones.

Interesting story.

I would add 3 to the htf mix

I went to three local shops and they each had multiple copies of 3 on the shelves, hardly anything after that. Not a 4 or 5 anywhere. And each copy of 7 looked like it had been delivered by a drooling Rottweiler.

3 stores today, 1-3 and 7 & 8 are easy enough to find around here, though condition is questionable. It's still 4-6 that are the toughies, although I did find one copy of #6 as a $2 back issue today, first #6 I've found so far. Last week I was able to find two copies of #4 and two copies of #5.

The Print Runs for The Vision 4, 5, 6, 7 are all approx 19,000 so, what is happening in the book that is causing #5 to heat up more than #4 or #6 or #7 ? Anybody?

Welcome to the $pec game. Where we love to pump our own books.

So why does it matter? Does anyone read the comics?

Yes. But not you?

Yes, I've read this series. That is why I'm questioning why there is more than a $4-5 value associated with these specific issues. There is nothing overly significant.

It's a great series, but today that rarely equates to monetary value.

4,5, and 6 have been tough to find for me at least, no doubt, but I feel that their value is falsely inflated.

#2 & #3 of Vision were over-shipped FREE to retailers matching their #1 numbers.

they are the most common. Don't get take the bait of somebody with a pile of three's...

Product Update (12/17/15)

THE VISION #3 FREE COPIES

Retailers will receive enough free copies of VISION #3 (NOV150795, FOC 12/7/15) to bring their total shipped copies up to match orders placed by FOC of VISION #1 (SEP150758). The Free copies of Vision #3 will arrive to Customers with their normal pay copies that are scheduled to go on sale 1/6/15.

Those numbers will NOT show up on comichron, it does not include FREE promo books only books sold.

there are a bunch of new characters in Vision series that potentially make it key & the writer is "THE" buzz guy in the industry right now...

Grayson, Sherriff of Babylon,Omega Men...

Not big sellers but insane positive word of mouth.
