Is there an Uncanny X-Men #266 (1st Gambit) appreciation thread? There's been a gradual uptick from the $200 price point it was sitting at.

 

With the confirmation of "go" for the movie, mid/low $200's seem like a good entry point to grab a copy (if you don't already own one).

That's a copper age book, so most discussion of it goes on there.

Eh, it's still an ad, and while there's a small niche of collectors who seek those out, the majority still go for the first full appearance of a character within the context of a story.

both depending on the importance of the comic. i certainly do not want a comic with any preview or ad after the first appearance has already happened ( see masters of the universe 1, invincible )
