What does CGC do with books that normally are a limited print, say 1 out of 100 or 1 out of 50 but is a special Artists Proof or Writers Proof Copy?

Examples are these:

Artist Proof

Writers Proof

Are they graded as being part of that set of 100?

In addition, I have this which is a publishers print and has the following written on the cover. gfssbcrn.jpg

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There would be a notation of the writing on the label but the books would not be designated as a separate variant.

Gemma,

Would they come back Universal or Qualified (because of such notations)?

thanks

If the book is high enough grade (above 7.5) then it would be Qualified and would not affect the grade, but if the grade was lower then the writing would be factored in and it would receive a Universal label.
