Hey Guys,

 

I'm new to the forum. I just had my 608 RRP CGC'd and it came back with "Special Edition" and "reprint" on the label. I called CGC and the customer service person told me it wasn't an original copy. It looks exactly like every genuine RRP I've ever seen. Did they screw up? Can anyone assist me in uploading a pic? I can't figure it out on this site.

First, let me say this book is a steal, I'm pretty sure (fairly sure, sigs look identical iirc) this book sold a month or two ago for $3,500-ish on feebay. Whether or not it's the same book, it's at a helluva price point, congrats on getting your copy back Skynwalker (or a 2nd copy perhaps?)

If there's a Watchmen blurb at the top of your Batman 608, then it's the reprint like this one:

 

 

 

If it's a straight up black border all around with no Watchmen text (and not in some foreign language), then it's legit like this one:

 

 

I'm certain CGC got it right, hopefully you didn't pay too much for that book....
