Easy favor to ask of anyone who has the "Fables Covers by James Jean" hardcover book (I own it, but it's in NYC while I'm still out here in San Diego enjoying a post-SDCC vacation): can you tell me if Fables #2 is done in oils or acrylics?

Thanks,

Gene

If I remember correctly the first 5 were primarily oil paintings.

Unreal quality on both of them. Fine art for the masses for sure.

Gene, Congrats :golfclap:

They are both beauties, but that #67, WOW :o

VERTIGO really bridged the gap between "comic art" and "fine art" (But I'm not trying to start THAT conversation again."

Terrific! I love the story related to the #67 cover (I don't recall the other or haven't got there yet).

I like my OA collection very much as it stands, but pickups like this make me realize I have holes that need to be filled, some way, some how. What I'm trying to say is...WOW!
