WALLY WOOD'S T.H.U.N.D.E.R. AGENTS was a personal Copper fave, at least for the first 4 (or so) issues. Really slick package with top talent. The story behind the scenes was unfortunately (and also fascinatingly) messy, which led to Deluxe's demise. A shame because it was off to an impressive start.

Fans should check out the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. AGENTS COMPENDIUM from Two Morrows for more details. Recommended!

I was just reading American Comic Book Chronicles - the 80s. It contains a detailed account of the battle between Singer and John Carbonaro over the rights to the property.

Fascinating stuff!

RIP Mr Singer. :foryou:

Strange article. He says "The gory details about Singer’s T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents are too numerous for this article..." but he proceeds to tell quite a bit of it for an obituary piece. Then he says "...I’m more focused on the fact that a human being is resting at peace...", but it doesn't appear that way if you look at the majority of the text he wrote.
