Cockling is a very real term. I use it all the time when doing condition reports for incoming art.

 

I also giggle every time I have to write it down.

 

It may be a real term in some other fashion, I'm just saying no one in comics has ever really used that term before.

You are forgetting that cockling is caused by inadequate pressing. If the comic was adequately pressed to begin with then there would be no cockling. Only with adequate pressing can cockling be corrected.
