That copy makes the one on Heritage look like a napkin!  That 7.5 is over 3k with time to spare, what's that thing gonna get?!?!?!

My guess wouldn't even be close a book way undervalued until now

Crazy price for the Heritage "mis-folded napkin" copy. The ComicLink copy might just set an all-time record for an LB Cole book, which I think is currently held by the 9.6 Spokane copy of Blue Bolt 115 ($16,730). (shrug)

Just amazing book.  It makes my 5.5 look like a dirty diaper.  Stunning colors.  Agree this could easily bump that record - only last year an 8.0 sold for $2,888 and now the 7.5 sells for $6,900.

I'm pretty sure you're right.  Not even an issue of MASK has gotten that kind of dough.  If a high grade one of those appeared now that may set the bar.  The Mile High SUSPENSE COMICS #11, CGC 9.4 also went for 11k, and that was in 2005.  I wonder what that would get today....

I've been meaning to ask about this book for awhile- there's multiple versions right?   I've seen a few copies for sale over the past year, in high grade for very reasonable prices, but figured they weren't the most desirable versions.  Am I wrong???

I am in negotiations to buy a Shocking Mystery Cases 50, I'd like to ask you guys what would be a fair market value for this copy (sorry about the pic, it's the only one I have at the moment):

Man, that's a smoking copy.  Highest graded is a single 7.5, this looks like it would beat that pretty easily.  In this market, who knows what's fair anymore?  1k?  2k?  Neither of those numbers would seem out of the ordinary to me.
