Action Comics in the Golden Age 1 1

I thought I would start a Golden Age thread about my favorite title, Action Comics. I did a search and could not find such a thread, so I hope this is not redundant. My focus is really Bronze Age Action Comics, but I have always loved the great Golden Age covers, even the handful that do not show Superman on the cover from the early days of the title.

 

I had one Golden Age Action book for a brief time, a modest yet presentable copy of Action Comics #65 in 5.0 with white pages.

 

 

I'm not sure if I will pursue or every acquire any more books from this era, so for now I'll live vicariously through other collectors. I would love to see photos of these great books from others, and to hear stories of their acquisitions.

One of the coolest things about Action comics is the consistency of the logo over the years. It is too bad that they shrunk it as they years went on but how many things in life lasted as long as this logo month to month!!
