This thread is dedicated to all those covers that show Robin, the Boy Wonder in a shock pose. Usually in one of the lower corners of the cover. Believe me there are a bunch.

Photo scans will be up soon.

Enjoy!

I didn't realize Batman 144 had a Bat-Mite cover - one more for the want list.

Great thread! Screw that Dark Knight Bulle, this is the real Batman.

I mean c'mon, isn't this getting a little old? The exact same pose, in the same corner? What's Robin do, just cheer from the sidelines?

Seems more like extreme laziness on the part of the cover artists. Why draw new pictures free hand when they can just churn out part of the cover by tracing over an earlier cover?

Remember Lighthouse's "Guess-the-wallbooks-in-the-fuzzy-digital-picture" contest from early this year?

One of his was a Robin corner shock pose. 27_laughing.gif I spent way too much time comparing all the possible candidates in Gerber's Photo Journal to his picture. There were probably a dozen in Gerbers, no telling how many others in the 1960-1964 period Gerber didn't bother to show!
