4 more Archie Sci-fi/Horror covers for me...Only 4 more to go and I'll have all of them from 1960-1964...

This Josie is kinda tough to find at a reasonable price...so I settled for this 2.0 for $4...

The 1961-1964 issues with the sci-fi/horror theme coincided with a horror/sci-fi craze in the U.S. at that time.

Did Betty appear very much as Superteen? I can't really remember seeing the character very much if at all.

She had a shortish run in the 60's, but the character has never completely gone away. Superteen keeps returning. She even popped up again last year in "Superteens vs. Crusaders", a two-issue mini-series. It was a fun read, even if Betty looked more like the "Riverdale" Betty.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
