Leafcast would just produce new paper where paper is gone, but as good as the leaf cast is, the restorer still should have to rebuild/redraw all the missing art and color.

At this point, it would be costly and I’d be OK with a reprint or a coverless copy. :)

When you say costly, how much do you think it would cost? Let's say the resto costs $1200 or so. The book gets fixed up and then gets a 6.0 PLOD. You put $1500 into a book that presents well and probably is worth what you put in to it, if not more.

 

Seems like a good deal to me…
