And we're back, year three :banana:

Figured this time we'd play the weeks by themes all to start on Saturday dates:

 

Week 1 Oct 1st: CEMETERY /COFFIN /TOMB COVERS

 

Week 2 Oct 8th: GHOST /SPIRIT /APPARITION COVERS

 

Week 3 Oct 15th: MEN IN PERIL HORROR COVERS (a reverse play on a new popular thread)

 

Week 4 Oct 22nd: SKULLS AND SKELETONS

 

Week 5 Oct 29th thru Halloween: 'AUTHENTIC HALLOWEEN COVERS'

 

So i'll kick it off with these: Strange Tales 28 is the king of the coffin covers, but this is my personal all time coffin cover champ: Crime Mysteries #4. This Lady in Red is trying to keep whatever is inside inside, while the man is freaking out. Just love it!

This is another fave (Crime Mysteries covers are almost the Fiction House of Horror covers in that all the covers feature a lovely woman prominently on the cover in the center of the mayhem). This lady is about to become a Mummy unless this guy has anything to say about it.
