Managed to get this comic for £30 in total (including shipping) - I already have it in 9.8 SS, as well as various raw copies so I had to get this. Though, I hasten to add that this is the first Qualified comic that I've ever purchased

Wow that looks to be a very good 8.0 - must be something inside the book that's causing the grade drop.

Its the "name wrtiten in marker" thats causing the grade drop.

That would only cause the grade drop if it was a blue label. The reason it has a green qualified label is supposed to be to ignore that writing and grade it as if it weren't there.

 Youre right!, I forgot how those green labels work.

All good! I'd consider paying for the graders notes - it's possible you could contact CGC and get them to correct the error if it really did get the qualified label when it should have the universal label.

Not really a big story. I bought original art for 4 Superman daily strips(from 1941!)  from a friend of mine, and I bought about 600 books too. We both knew what this was, so it was factored in. 

You could say though that I paid nothing for it considering everything else, or you could say I paid thousands of dollars for it. I like the price I paid for the art, so I'm going to say this was free.

Found this in the dollar bin today, thought it looked quite different for Campbell and bought it on that, when I read up it's a minor key issue which is pretty cool

Very cool, I just recently received my ASM 607 back in July, came back a 9.6. I’m thinking on 11 books myself, but after tallying, I may have to dial down. Lol
