 Not every piece of tech in the MCU has to have Stark stamped on it.

One Life to Live star Laura Harrier and Grand Budapest Hotel star Tony Revolori have joined the cast of Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

According to The Wrap, Harrier has landed a "significant role," though they don't have any further details on who she will be playing. As for Revolori, Deadline says the young actor is playing someone that is "part of Peter Parker’s high school crowd but isn’t a villain." They too didn't have a specific character name to give.

The newest person to play the role of Spider-Man admitted he was nervous starting out and even asked his former co-star Chris Hemsworth to put in a good word for him. The most shocking part of the interview may be his telling of how he learned that he had gotten the part by reading the internet.

:o

Watch the fellows in the back when they realize he is the actor playing Spider-Man.

lol

Robert Downey Jr. Joins The Cast Of Spider-Man Homecoming

According to reports from THR, Captain America: Civil War actor Robert Downey Jr. has finalized talks to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.

In Captain America: Civil War, Tony seems to form a more mentor-like role for Spidey, and that dynamic will be picked up again in Spider-Man's solo outings. The film has already cast its Aunt May with actress Marisa Tomei and includes Zendaya and Tony Revolori in unnamed roles.

"However, Downey Jr. only agreed to appear in the film if they changed the name to 'The Spectacular Spiderman', as they had originally trial ballooned, causing CGC boardies who will remain unnamed to buy Spectacular Spiderman #1 9.8."

Great. Now you all scared him off.

Michael Keaton Turns Down Spider-Man: Homecoming

Michael Keaton is not playing the Spider-Man: Homecoming villain.

Following Variety reporting Keaton was in talks for a villain role, Deadline then followed up that the deal was unlikely.

Now a reporter for THR says the deal never got passed the offer stage, meaning Marvel/Sony offered Keaton a role, but he turned it down.

Kevin Feige Confirms Marvel Is Making Creative Decisions On Spider-Man: Homecoming

"Well, I've known all those for very long. Amy Pascal, Tom Rothman who runs Sony now I've known for years, so it's been great, and they really are supportive in allowing us to make the creative decisions to make that movie, but they've been great partners, and uh, so far so good on that movie."

"Hey You Guys, huh? Is that from The Goonies?"

Twits. It was first done on The Electric Company.

I'm hoping that the movie brings back to the comics the Spidey I've loved so long, then it really will be a homecoming.
