You want rare? Well here is rare. New Fun Comics #6! From October 1935 featuring the first appearance of Dr. Occult who was the prototype for Superman! This example is in rough shape but is completely unrestored. I would grade it a qualified 1.0. Why qualified? This copy was originally a return copy, so the top 1/4 of the front cover was removed. This copy comes with a married top 1/4 cover, but it is not attached. The top edge of the book is slightly brittle and the top 1/4 spine which was exposed. There is a small tear that goes through the entire book at the top edge. However, the book can be paged through with no problems or with any chips falling/flying off. The bottom right corner is also slightly brittle, but again, not chippy. The back cover has a piece that detached but is present. The book can be conserved to make it easy to handle. All pages are present and firmly attached. I have owned this book for over 12 years, and it has remained completely stable.
